Job Description

• Monitor the progress of engineering subcontractor closely and ensure project target date is met
• Participates in bids clarification meeting, kick off meeting, design reviews, technical safety studiesworkshop, model reviews for packages
• Support procurement to resolve technical disputes and other discrepancies, where applicable
• Review and comment on vendor submitted documents during detailed engineering
• Provide technical support to installation, construction and commissioning team.
• Attend FAT and attend receiving inspections, when assigned
• Resolve comments related to packages handled

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Specialized courses in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer are highly beneficial.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the marine, offshore or renewable energy sectors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, AVEVA PDMS, Cadmatic 3D, Navisworks, SP3D and etc.

Responsibilities:

• Review and comment on topside models, drawings and material handling plan prepared by
• engineering subcontractor
• Ensure the latest available technical information are used.
• Follow up on open comments
• Verify implementation of agreed solution to closed comments
• Coordinate with PREs to ensure parameters in Master Equipment List and Weight Control Report are filled correctly
• Compile MTO of topside equipment fasteners & insulations to procurement
• Understand IM requirements that are applicable to the discipline and provide assistance, guidelines to the team.
• Coordinate on the database development.

• Create and maintain testbenches for complex digital designs using SystemVerilog and UVM (Universal Verification Methodology).
• Write, debug, and execute test cases to verify functionality, performance, and power consumption of our SoC and AI-SOC products.
• Collaborate with design engineers to identify, analyze, and resolve design issues.
• Conduct coverage analysis and drive verification closure to ensure all functional requirements are met.
• Mentor junior verification engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Continuously improve verification processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in design and verification reviews, providing constructive feedback and recommendations.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in verification techniques and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience at block/sub-system/full-chip verfication level.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog, C/C++, Python, Makefile, with a strong understanding of digital design principles.
• AMBA Protocol, and such as APB, AHB, AXI or ACE or CHI;.
• Any of high speed IO, such as PCIe, USB, SATA, Ethernet, MIPI and so on;
• Any of memory system, such as DDR, UFS, SD or EMMC and so on;
• Familiar with CPU/DSP bootup flow, and GCC toolchain;
• Familiar with C-SV DPI development based on any of simulator;
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
• Nice to have NPU bootup flow, and related toolchain development experience;
• Low power verification experience is better;
• Knowledge of low-power design techniques and verification methodologies is a plus.

• Design, test, troubleshoot, and commission company products, including jigs, fixtures, and both semi-automatic and fully automatic custom machines.
• Participate in customer meetings to discuss project requirements and proposals for new initiatives.
• Conduct research and develop innovative ideas to improve the company’s performance and competitiveness in industrial automation.
• Assist in or manage the procurement of required materials and equipment to support the execution of these tasks.
