Overall Job Objectives

Role

The Art Therapist is to work with children and families of all ages and backgrounds using the visual arts as a medium for healing, awareness and self-development. The aim is to help their clients express intense emotion and explore their thoughts in a non-verbal way, using a wide range of art materials. The intention is not a focus on the artistic skills of the client but their engagement in a creative personal process. They work in either a group or one-to-one setting and provide a safe and secure environment for clients to work through their emotions. 4. Co-ordinate with clients and consultants on the technical requirements. Attend technical discussions with clients and consultants when required.

5. Feed back to Sales & Marketing Department on the changes of technical requirements by clients for claims of additional costs and time.

6. Check and follow-up on design and shop drawings with production departments.

7. Develop and improve on design of electrical switchboards, consoles and control panels. While taking note of quality, standard, cost effective designs are to be considered.

8. Assist and advise Sales & Marketing Department on technical matters, provide technical backup for securing of contracts.

9. Carry out other responsibilities as and when assigned by the superiors.

10. Follow the procedures of design control, documentation and data control, and quality system of the total Quality Management System.
