· Responsible for engineering, design activities for electrification projects i.e. design deliverable completion, clarification meetings with client, follow up with external consultants on submissions, vendors.

· Package lead with overall responsibility for the design and execution of electrical packages for traction power systems e.g. MV Switchgear, DC Switchgear, DC Trackside equipment, Power Converters, Power Transformers, Auxiliary systems.

· Support Design team in preparation of Cable List, Cable Termination List, Station FO network Diagram.

· Develop conceptual engineering, propose and implement Value addition engineering for the projects.

· System Engineering support for the tender / bids.

· Work closely with other design teams and engineering on the customer requirement, coordinate design verification and submission to customer.

· Work closely with Project teams, Interfacing, T&C teams including coordinate with various interface partner.

· Preparation of O&M and Training Manual in consultation with Design Manager.

· Preparation of Signal list for Remote Control & Monitoring requirements in consultation with other Design Engineers.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification

· Has acquired strong foundation as an Project Engineer / Electrical Engineer in traction power systems with local project experience.

· Candidates with proven project management experience will be consider as Project Engineer.

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in the electrification projects for MRT projects.

· Good experience in AC and DC Electrification systems including Control and Protections.

· Added advantage for experience on Metro Projects using 750V DC System.

· Added advantage for simulation studies for DC traction power systems.

· Good experience in handling medium to high complexity of solution projects.

· Well verse of Local transportation operators and legal requirement.

· Adaptable to different working environments and customer working terms and conditions.

· Strong and effective communicator at all levels within the Business Unit and other Business units.

· Having Good Knowledge on Power RTU, PLC system.

· Keen to work in Central region of Singapore.

· Interested to be engaged for 1 year extendable contractual role depending on project requirement needs

RESPONSIBILITIES

• As an automation design engineer, your duties will include establishing automated assembly lines for manufacturing as well as enhancing and supporting current production. Along with handling drawing changes throughout the design and debugging processes, your other responsibilities include developing machines, jigs, and fixtures while staying within budget and scheduling constraints. You will collaborate closely with organisations from many fields.
• Create a semi-automatic/fully automatic machine or fixture for a new product and enhance an existing procedure while taking cost and quality into account.
• In order to satisfy a new need, improve an existing machine.
• To make sure all designs are current, create a machine 3D, 2D, and bill of materials list.
• Make sure the design satisfies the requirements by reviewing the machine design.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical engineering field
• At least 4 years of Industrial Automation Design is an advantage.
• Ability to design assembly machine, jig and fixture with guidance
• Knowledge of AutoDesk Inventor software
• Knowledge and experience with GD&T, DFM, FMEA, Vision System, Robotic, Lean Manufacturing
• Six Sigma and Problem Solving Methodology

Responsibilities:

• Acquire approval scope of works and ensuring compliance with regulations and project requirements.
• Prepare and develop detailed schedule for project implementation.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of the construction process, including Builders; and M&E works, to
• ensure timely completion and quality standards.
• Carry out site meetings with the client and all sub-contractors to review progress, address any issues.
• Prepare and review quotations from sub-contractors, and assign them according to project needs
• Create and track project costs and providing regular reports on project profitability.
• Perform testing and commissioning of Builder, LAN, M&E works, etc.
• Carry out thorough handover inspection with the client to obtain endorsement and ensure their
• satisfaction.
• Address and promptly rectify any defects identified.
• Gather and provide As-Built Drawings and Fire Safety Certificate for the landlord or clients.
• Ensure up-to-date claims and variations, obtaining approval and endorsement.
• Prepare and provide a progress payment claims and variation orders for billing.
• Submit the drawing in a timely manner to achieve the release of renovation deposits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Project Management or Quantity Surveyor
• With at least 4-6 years of experience with leadership role in Construction or Design Industry.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
