Requirements: Master’s, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Responsibilities

• Responsible for physical design and development activities of MediaTek Ghz, AI processors and neural network DSP
• Involve in activities encompass physical design and analysis of complex and timing-critical AI processors and neural network DSP
  Technical disciplines include synthesis, floor-planning, place and route, RC extraction, timing, power optimization and physical verification
• Work closely with MediaTek colleagues in Taiwan and Singapore in implementation methodology co-development and flow deployment

Requirement

• Bachelor/Masters Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
• Min 2 years of high-speed CPU/GPU/DSP Subsystem RTL Integration experience or IP/Block/SoC Design experience (Candidate with less than 5 years of relevant experience will be considered for junior position)

We are looking for a candidate for high-speed analog integrated circuit design. This candidate will contribute to the development of high linearity silicon photonics modulators for 6G and beyond communication systems. This requires the candidate to work closely with the optics team on the electro/optical co-design as well as system integration and validation.

• Perform system level analysis and design, to derive circuit-level design specifications
• Design and tapeout ICs which include state-of-the-art circuit blocks, e.g. wideband linear low-noise amplifier and transimpedance amplifier with a focus on circuits interfacing with silicon photonics elements
• Work together with team to investigate novel circuit/system solutions to create new inventions

Job Requirements

Research by Design (RxD) at the Department of Architecture seeks qualified, interdisciplinary, and inspirational candidates with expertise in creative practice research (research through design, as opposed to research for design or research about design). We seek candidates with expertise in design with foundations in decarbonized & planet-positive futures, warming world futures, social justice, and inclusive futures, with a particular focus on being situated in the tropical geographies of Southeast Asia and the equator. Candidate research should be manifested through a robust portfolio of creative practice outputs and substantiated through forms of peer review and public and societal engagement, with evidence of leading with anticipatory and future-forward design ideas that impact evolving society and the profession.
