Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
Lead and manage the interior design discipline for high-end residential projects from concept to completion.
Collaborate closely with project/design architects, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of interior and architectural design.
Conceptualization and Design Development:
Develop innovative and aesthetically pleasing interior design concepts that align with the overall project vision.
Create mood boards, design presentations, and detailed drawings to communicate design intent.
Material Selection and Specification:
Source and select high-quality materials, finishes, and furnishings that enhance the luxury and sophistication of each project.
Prepare material boards and documentation for client approval and project documentation.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with Clients, Architects, remote junior interior designers, and Contractors to ensure a cohesive and integrated design approach, manage timelines and deliverables, prepare design/ tender/ working drawings for coordination with Clients, consultants and contractors
Mentor and provide guidance to junior interior designers.
Client Interaction:
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, requirements, and feedback.
Present design proposals and modifications in a professional and persuasive manner.
Budget Management:
Collaborate with the Architecture team to develop and manage interior design budgets.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-end residential interior design, with a focus on landed houses.
Skills:
Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop).
Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and furnishings.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
