This role is responsible for technical specification and definition of industrial systems, products and solutions including system and product design, technical sourcing of such systems / products and digitization applications. This role defines regional product and system portfolios and create ways to fulfill such portfolio through local capability, partners and Envac AB HO & cross regional technical collaboration. This role actively interacts with commercial functions and customers to know the market trends and customer needs in order to fulfill such needs in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities:

Products / Systems

Manage product life cycles including new products and accessory configuration update. Create and maintain solution and product catalogue to support commercialization. Actively support new project proposals when new offers are needed for pre-sale and bidding requirements. Focus on Product and system Application Development for Southeast Asia and China. This is to broaden and differentiate Envac offers.

• The above scope includes technical understanding and application of engineering solutions, a variety of industrial equipment / components going into the solutions, system automation know-hows, and digitization trends. At the same time, finding local alternatives to address cost and delivery needs.
• Co-operate with Partners in each market for New Product Application development. Technically source from qualified partners. Manage confidentiality, IP and Business cases.
• Handle Product & Technical Complaints and provide On-site Services to support project teams if needed.
• Set up database with product catalogue to track in Projects – what new products used in what projects, lessons learned, recommendation for future projects, wish list for new products.
• Carry out market research in each country with insightful intelligence, analyse, and formulate into product market competition strategies to integrate into product development plan.

• Standardize design fundamentals, identify gaps to improve.
• Lead and Work with design team in each office to proactively design into opportunities and ensure design accuracy with local needs.
• Establish proactive Relationship with Influential Project Consultants and design houses for Technical Spec-in. Track such leads as a KPI to drive for pipelines with business leaders.

• Define choices of products / solutions for commercial team to choose from to meet market demand.
• Define product plan for each year by working with cross functional team.

Job scope:

• Follow up with site walk and client enquiry for the new job or project and work together with project engineer and manager for the quotation and tender submission, ensuring purchase order is secured.
• Coordinating with engineering, construction and liaise with the client on detail engineering requirements.
• Prepare quotation, budget plan and submission to have approval from project engineer or manager.
• Prepare method of statement, lifting plan and work schedule to provide safety personnel to prepare risk assessment.
• Prepare MTO and raise MR for all materials required for the project.
• Responsible for equipment installation, structure installation, piping erection operations and pipe support installation in accordance with schedule, procedures, specifications, priorities and availability of construction drawings.
• Handling all the technical queries and investigating all the work related problems, including the drawing of field sketches when necessary.
• Review of Project specification, ISO drawings and P&ID.
• Responsible for counter checking by ISO drawings, P&ID and GA drawings for the correct location, orientation, alignment and plumpness.
• Carrying out final P&ID check of installed piping systems in the module. Preparation of “AS BUILT” drawings.
• Responsible for carrying out mechanical clearance, conducting hydro and pneumatic tests, fulfilling commissioning and Pre-Commissioning requirements for the project.
• Responsible for line checking after hydro testing or pneumatic testing to complete the post punch list prior to sign-off the test packages before signing the completion of piping / mechanical.
• Ensure that all punch list items are resolved; client handover is satisfactorily concluded and that there is no prolongation of project.
• Take prompt corrective and preventive action to remove any quality issue, any unsafe elements and unhealthy conditions at site.
• Sales Cycle Management: Conduct the full sales cycle, including lead generation, follow-up, service delivery, and transaction closure.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify project design hazards, construction risks, and constructability issues.

Job Requirements:

• Possess excellent leadership, planning, good management skills, interpersonal communication and negotiation skills

XCL World Academy is seeking to appoint a Secondary Years Design & Technology Teacher. This is a full-time contract position commencing from 1st August 2025.

Preference will be given to teachers who have relevant subject-specific IB MYP and DP experience, as well as a clear track record of superior teaching in international school settings.
