Job Responsibilities:

• Drive innovative design concepts and themes for luxury and lifestyle events and exhibitions
• Design and produce creative 3D renderings, highly detailed layout plans, elevation drawings and technical drawings
• Lead and inspire a team of designers and oversee the design workflow for events and branded exhibitions (3D renderings, layouts, technical drawings and shop drawings)
• Projects allocation for the design team to ensure efficient turnaround
• Work closely with account servicing team and production team in ensuring design aligns with client’s requirements, and ensuring budget alignment for designs
• Communicate closely with vendors and contractors
• Attend site visits and inspections to assess venue requirements and develop spatial layouts and designs that optimize the attendee experience
• Able to manage personal workload, delegate tasks to design team effectively, prioritize team workloads, and oversee project timeline to ensure timely delivery of design deliverables
• Managing workflow with external freelancers when specialized skills or additional resources are needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design, Exhibition Design, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in lifestyle, luxury, fashion, or experiential event design
• Advanced skills in spatial planning, 3D modelling, and visualization, with expertise in photorealistic rendering techniques
• Proven track record in leading and managing creative teams; strong leadership and mentorship abilities
• Good understanding of clients’ brand strategy and design alignment for luxury and lifestyle brands
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Cloud software, SketchUp, and AutoCAD

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that engineering designs meet project-specific requirements, adhere to Engineering Standard Practices, and align with the company's ISO procedures, as well as national and international engineering norms, codes, and safety standards.
• Create essential documents and drawings, including block diagrams, bills of materials, functional design specifications, design calculations, wiring diagrams, and other necessary documentation. These ensure that equipment can be procured, integrated, tested, installed, and delivered to the customer on schedule.
• Verify that equipment provided for specific projects meets relevant specifications, complies with project technical standards, is correctly configured, and is fully completed.
• Ensure that the specified and designed equipment can be effectively integrated with other systems and equipment with which it interfaces.
• Develop test procedures suitable for project commissioning and provide technical support to the system assembly and integration team.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned by the Projects & Retrofit Manager or Assistant Manager.
