DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Art Studios and Storerooms

• Liaise with Estate for removal of trash, cleanup of major spaces
• Organize storage space and dejunk the unnecessary
• Report breakdown of equipment/facilities to IT and Estate, oversee repairs

2. Administrative and Office Work

• Manage SRC Art Gallery (On spotlights, air-con and screenings for visits), Open and Close Gallery (within office hours only)
• Liaise between art suppliers, art teachers and Finance – Processing of invoice payments and documentation
• Updating art materials inventory list
• Liaise with IT and AV with checks and updating of inventory list
• Booking of transport for external gallery and museum visits

3. Supervision of Teaching and Learning

• Keeping updated stock list (be it liaising with art teachers or physical checks)
• Assist in sourcing of materials, ordering of materials, liaising with delivery and packing
• Archiving of artworks on display in school, keeping track of inventory list of artworks on digital platform
• Packing and organizing of delivered art materials into the respective storerooms and studios
• To provide close supervision when students are handling machines or engage in dangerous activities
• To check that all students vacate art room at the end of each day, all doors are secured and ensure that no student is able to assess freely.

4. Materials & Equipment

• Oversee loan of equipment to students, keeping an updated inventory of equipment movement
• Keep an updated inventory, labeling equipment, coming up with instructional/ safety labels
• Accountable for usage and returning of tools and equipment during activities
• Accountable for maintenance of equipment such as cameras and lenses

5. Digital archival/ Resource preparation

• Simple documentation/ photographing of art works
• Archiving photographs/ artworks / articles digitally
• Maintenance of AEP website
• Assist in the production of art learning resources. E.g. scanning

6. Installation & Display

• Assist in setup of student’s works for exhibitions (Painting / construction of walls, liaising with the IT, AV and Estate for the wiring of electrical cables, spotlights and installation of works)
• Oversee framing and installation of artworks in the SRC Art Gallery and within school compound (Liaise with external vendor)
• Artist Statement Labels

7. Safety Officer

• Assist Safety Committee and EC/ Aesthetics in the role as safety officer for all art studios.
• Maintenance of First Aid Kit in all art studios
• Work with Estate on checking of all fire extinguishers
• Maintenance of Kiln and Printing Press (Liaise with external vendor)
• Maintenance of cleanliness in all art studios and gallery

• A Diploma in Fine Arts is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• To take full accountability for all partnerships and contracts secured by you that fall within your market across all genres. • A passionate community researcher who is keen to work with the community stakeholders to develop a community-based participatory research model, heritage assessments and other research initiatives. Other key duties include training workshops and community outreach.
• To develop a sustainable and collaborative approach or process in community-based participatory research which involves the Board, volunteers, architects, designers, community stakeholders and clients.

Summary

As Impact Design Lead of School of X (SoX), you will be involved in the full spectrum of SoX activities (from pre- to post-workshop) to ensure intentional translation of client objectives and needs into SoX programme design and post-workshop engagement activities, in order to support sustained outcomes. You will be responsible for developing and managing the SoX coaching and mentoring products that enable participants to continue to apply their design skills in a structured and focused way beyond the classroom to bring their solutions towards implementation. You will also be responsible for overseeing the Community of Curious Practice and working with the SoX team to seek ongoing opportunities to grow and strengthen engagement with the SoX community, to support our alumni in contributing to an ecosystem that supports their continued growth and practice.

The SoX Impact Design Lead will work closely with the SoX Programme Design Lead to shape programmes together that meet the specific needs of each project, and you will support the Programme Design Lead in guiding the SoX Design Facilitators to ensure they understand the needs and objectives of each programme and can align facilitation practices with the intended outcomes. Responsibilities

This role reports to the Director of School of X at Dsg, and your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Outcomes-Focused Programme Design, Management and Development

• Engage clients in the early phase of business development, together with SoX Business Operations Lead, to gain a clear understanding of client needs and develop a comprehensive proposal (including post-workshop offerings) to achieve clients’ aspirations
• Translate client requirements into learning design considerations and work with SoX Programme Design Lead to tailor the SoX programme content and learning experiences to meet participant needs and increase the likelihood of achieving project outcomes
• Conceptualise and develop new SoX offerings and resources (e.g. mentorship-based advisory, masterclasses, toolkits, etc) that meet identified unmet needs, to strengthen the ways in which SoX enables organisations and participants to develop sustainable and effective design mindsets, skills and outcomes

Programme Review and Outcomes Management/ Sustaining Design Practice and Implementation

• Engage with Challenge Sponsors to review programme outcomes and recommend how to sustain impacts from SoX programmes
• Design and take action to realise stakeholder engagement plans for teams and individuals graduating from SoX programmes, to enable sustained practice, implementation of solutions where appropriate, and continued learning
• Story-tell the sustained impact of SoX programmes and events to inspire the community in taking design action, and manage SoX communication platforms such as website and social media

Design Coaching and Capability Development

• Support growth of Dsg through internal capability building programmes and contribute towards internal design-led initiatives for the organisation

You will be leading the Life sciences/ labs vertical and be aligned to Space Matrix goals and targets of revenue, client acquisitions, client retention through client success and thought leadership.

Remuneration Package

• Basic salary up to $6,500

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Project Sales to understand clients’ requirements.
• Ability to liaise with oversea associate to come out with details drawing and visual.
• Work with QS and prepare drawings, costings, quotation and proposal.
• Work closely with Project Sales to manage project tasks and work schedule.
• Meet and present Design proposals to clients.
• Follow-through all required clients’ communications and correspondences.
• Maintain excellent customer relationship.

Requirement:

• Degree/Diploma in Interior Design/Architecture or equivalent.
• Have at least 5 years of relevant experience in commercial fit-out.
• Able to handle commercial projects (Retail F&B and Commercial Office experience is an added advantages)
• Work well in a team, is discipline, positive and willing to learn and grow with the team.
• Knowledge of using ZOOM, Google Docs and MS Office preferred.
• Competent in using software(s): AutoCAD/Google SketchUp/3D Studio Max/Photoshop.
• Flair in creative and have a passion for spatial design.

• Organise, can multitask and detail in work.

As our Manager- Client Solutions based in Singapore you will be responsible for acquisition of new clients. Reporting to the Director- International Business Development, you will drive business development efforts that generate leads, enhance brand visibility, and increase sales. Specific Responsibilities

• You will prospect for potential new clients and generate new leads and track leads and forecast your sales efforts to create new bookings.
• You will Drive business development efforts in the region, acquire new clients and manage sales targets .
• Gather market intelligence, including information on clients and competitors in the Workplace Market Sector, industry trends, future projects, etc
• You will develop and take part in pitches and other presentations that meet the client’s needs and expectations.
• You will Work closely with the MD and the team to complete the sales cycle.
• You will Represent Space Matrix by targeting potential clients, project partners, and collaborators; identifying opportunities; building relationships to expand Space Matrix’s competitive position.

In addition to experience within the real estate facilities and/or "corporate workplace" market sector in Singapore, this position requires strategic thinking, quick problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, digital media experience, and real business acumen.
