• At least 1-2 years experience in engineering design and/or Classifications Societies and/orNaval Engineering Officer.
• Strong knowledge of international design codes, Classification/Statutory Rules andRegulations.

• Engineering Design Project Management skills.
• Strong Leadership and Interpersonal skills.

Job Description:

• Plan and control the delivery of project design to ensure the achievement of quality, completion and project objectives.
• Select and engage, then monitor the performance of external design partners within the discipline including their deliverables, cost and timeframes.
• Manage the design approval process in accordance with project requirements and program
• Prepare budgets and schedules of design delivery for management approval then manage and report the cost of design delivery in the project life cycle.
• Manage design to ensure the cost of the works meets project requirements.
• Manage and review milestone deliverables from the Design Consultants to ensure the compliance and adherence to project schedule, scope and Design Brief, Stakeholders’ requirements and comments, statutory codes and regulations, and company guidelines.
• Obtain, review and consolidate Stakeholders’ feedbacks on stage deliverables, and relay such feedbacks as directives to Consultants.
• Manage client and stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with the project team.
• Supervise the work of subordinate design and drafting staff to ensure project requirements are met.
• Select and develop design management staff within the project by providing leadership and mentoring to ensure their design management competencies.
• Understand design compliance and reporting procedures and processes and leadership in the communication of requirements.
• Foster the interaction between design and construction teams to maximise innovation and project success.

Job Requirement:

• Recognised Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of engineering experience in the construction industry with 8 years of experience in the design of civil and structures of building related projects
• Experience in LTA and SMRT project will be advantage.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
• Resourceful, self-driven, proactive, and able to foster collaboration
• Able to work well independently and as a team

Job Description:

1. Analysis and design of civil structures covering both structura and geotechnical (Bridge Design, Drain Design, Slope Stability analysis, Settlement Calculation, Temporary Steel Structure Design etc.),
2. Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant statutory standards, regulations and codes of practice.
3. Assist team leader to achieve set targets without compromising quality standards of design and supervision works.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor of Engineering in civil and structural / geotechnical engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
2. Well-versed in civil and structual design software e.g. StaadPro / GeoStudio/ Plaxis /HECRAS.
3. Familiar with BIM will be an advantage.
4. Willing to work in Changi District, company's shuttle bus will pick-up and drop-off at Pasir Ris MRT station.
5. Willing to work 5.5 workweek.

Job responsibilities:
