RESPONSIBILITIES

Treasury Initiatives and Projects

• Support the rollout of Inhouse Bank Project for the Group.
• Support bank account rationalisation and streamline bank requirements by working closely with the Shared Services Centre.
• Identify areas for paperless initiatives and liaise with the banks for implementation.
• Responsible for tracking the progress of Treasury projects, follow up closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of full set accounts
• Responsible for month/year end financial and management reports
• Prepare fixed assets schedules and bank reconciliation
• Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliation and confirmation
• Review the work of Accounts Assistants to ensure the accuracy of daily sales revenue and expenses
• Handle year-end statutory audit, preparation of statutory accounts
• Prepare and submit of quarterly GST returns
• Liaise with auditor, tax agent and company secretary

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CPA or equivalent

• Ability to meet tight schedules and timelines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and experience in ERP accounting software will be an advantage

Basic Functions

Responsible in moving materials and products within the Plant and/or storage facility using forklift, hoist or other material handling equipment. Ships and/or receives materials, supplies, product and equipment as directed.

Specific Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials and finished goods
• Receives materials and records data as instructed
• Move materials, supplies, products, finished goods, goods in process within the Plant and/or storage area
• Operates various material handling equipment including, but not limited to, forklift trucks, hoists, cranes, motorized or manual conveyors, and other equipment
• Sorts and delivers material to various work areas as per instructions
• Packs and ships products and enter necessary data into appropriate systems
• Ensure that all store and warehouse documentation system to comply with ISO requirements
• Ensure monthly cycle counts are carry out and maintain the highest standard for accuracy of the inventory.

Reporting to the Dean and Vice Dean, Research, the appointee is expected to undertake high quality research in Microbiome Medicine, in line with the research strategy of the School. The appointee will obtain research funding and supervise research staff and students. The appointee is also expected to undertake teaching and educational responsibilities for the training of medical students and postgraduate research students.

Person Specification:

• MBBS/MD and/or PhD
• Relevant postdoctoral or clinical experience
• Significant experience and outstanding, record of translational clinical research and teaching with a high level of scientific achievement, productivity and impact in the field of Microbiome Medicine, Microbiology or Microbial bioinformatics
• Experience in working with human microbiome studies would be an advantage
