We are looking for a Technical Project Manager experienced in multidisciplinary product development (ME, EE, FW) within medical, automotive, or consumer electronics sectors who specializes in managing Accessory projects, coordinating with R&D, and ensuring NPI success with stakeholders and PLM compliance.
What you will do
Project Management:
- Project manager experience managing multidisciplinary functions (ME, EE, FW etc) to develop complete product in product development sector (medical, automotive, consumer electronics)
- To manage Accessory development projects with external suppliers (ODM/ OEM/ JDM development model) as a Project Manager role and work closely with R&D cross-functional team as well as support functions such as Marketing, Regulatory, SCM, Quality, Logistics, Procurement, Production teams.
- To monitor closely project schedule, cost and quality of each assigned projects to achieve on-time delivery of product with good quality and within approved budget
- Ensure regular project status reporting to stakeholders and senior management, while strictly adhering to the PLM process for product development execution.
New Product Introduction:
- Lead new production introduction for Accessory products, collaborating with R&D and cross-functional teams (Logistics, Quality, Procurement, external suppliers).
- Coordinate new product introduction and transfer planning for Accessory products, ensuring alignment with pilot runs and ramp-up activities across manufacturing sites; collaborate closely with Logistics and Procurement for initial 3-month material planning post-launch.
What you bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical Electronics) or related fields
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in technical project management (ODM/ OEM/ JDM development model) within the product development sector (medical, automotive, consumer electronics)
- Willingness to travel 30-45% to manufacturing sites in Southeast Asia (SEA)
