We are seeking a Contract Technical Program Manager (TPM) for our client, a Fortune 500 tech company, based in Singapore. The role will be a 9-months contract position. This exceptional individual will be passionate about collaborating with multidisciplinary, global teams to bring new immersive technologies to life in a fast-paced environment.

This is a highly cross-functional role requiring proven experience in leading technical software initiatives, program management, and effective communication. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and be capable of structuring and managing programs in alignment with strategic roadmaps. Responsibilities include prioritizing cross-functional efforts, developing detailed milestones and execution plans, ensuring end-to-end project delivery, and providing transparent, concise updates throughout the process. The role involves close collaboration with partners in the APAC region, as well as coordination with a team based in California.

• Autonomously work with the internal teams and partners in complex, cross-functional program plans (requirements, milestones, schedules) in a matrix organization spanning engineering (software), product, user experience, and content.
• Working with the internal teams and partners, develop end-to-end execution plans for on-time product milestone delivery.Track, analyze, and communicate to develop and execute against partnership goals
• Collaboratively build and actualize technical roadmaps, proactively identifying technical dependencies, constraints, risks with mitigation strategies, align on priorities, and chart the execution path for delivery.
• Drive difficult conversations with cross-functional partner teams for alignment and delivery in an independent manner.
• Represent the company in external meetings
• Ongoing communication of planning, program status, issues and risks in a timely fashion to stakeholders. Distill complex topics and updates into clear and concise communications to program stakeholders and executive management.
• Support the creation of technical program management best practices for the team. Design, build, and scale processes and systems that increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the technology industry as a technical program manager or engineering manager, leading development of software and/or hardware initiatives.
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience working on complex media or entertainment products, including working in Unity on Android devices and/or AR/VR environment.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through the software development lifecycle and driving tech maturation.
• Experience building and shipping 0→1 products from inception to delivery.
  

Job Description:

The Project Manager shall report to the Senior Manager of the Head of Department for Project Management and Site Integration. The Project Manager shall be responsible for the project assigned by carrying out the following:

- Coordinate with project team members in achieving the project targets (technically and commercially) set by the management.

- Execute the project plan within schedule, budget and resources.

- Coordinate with project team members, stakeholders, vendors, sub-contractors, and customers.

- Report project status to the project manager or steering committee

- Implement activities in the project execution phase according to the Company Group Management System (BGMS).

- Deliver project and system documentation according to the Company Group standard

- Attending project meetings with project team members, customers, consultants, sub-suppliers, etc. in achieving the targeted project plan.

- Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, site management and QHSE teams to ensure on time delivery within cost budgeted.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering or Business Administration

- 5 years of project experience, with a proven track record of hands-on experience as a Project Manager.

- Project Management experience and proficient in project management tools (e.g. MS Projects or Primavera, PowerPoint) will be an added advantage.

- Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, conflict management, negotiation skills, and teamwork.

- Organized, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Leadership skills.

- Must be willing to travel.
