Responsibilities

1. General Office Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth functioning.
• Provide general support to visitors.

2. HR Documentation and Employee Management:

About the Role

The TA Manager with report to the Deputy Head of Technical Assistance and is responsible for supporting PIDG Technical Assistance (PIDG TA) in developing and evaluating opportunities for deployment of PIDG TA funding in South and Southeast Asia. The role will involve working closely with the Deputy Head of TA, the Regional TA Manager, and various teams across PIDG both in Singapore and in London, and with external parties to develop and evaluate a pipeline of opportunities for PIDG TA to deploy its funding.

PIDG TA provides technical assistance grants and concessional capital to impactful infrastructure projects. This funding may be utilised to meet a range of needs associated with the infrastructure project development cycle including the assessment and feasibility of potential investment opportunities and building capacity of public sector counterparties and local investors.

The role will have a focus on supporting infrastructure finance through the deployment the CCF.

Main Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead in business origination activities and screening of new opportunities to develop and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities to deploy PIDG TA funding in the region.
• Support PIDG’s engagement with IPEF funders and government counterparties; in particular by preparing reports for and liaising with the IPEF donor countries and participation in IPEF meetings.
• Lead on the preparation of grant application submissions for the deployment of PIDG TA funding, particularly the CCF.
• Assess the technical and commercial feasibility of potential projects and companies that are seeking funding from PIDG TA (including analysis of key areas such as business model, market, management, operations where applicable) and provide advice on the need for support from PIDG TA and the project or company’s long-term sustainability/feasibility.

Working within PIDG

Work with the PIDG Impact, Risk and Health, Safety, Environment and Social (HSES) teams to ensure that any use of PIDG TA funding is aligned with PIDG’s Operating Policies and Procedures (OPPs).

• Work with the PIDG Legal and Compliance teams to ensure that all due diligence and documentation is appropriately undertaken and detailed.
• Ensure that all documentation and funding proposals submitted to PIDG’s committees and Board are to a high standard that enables committee and Board members to make informed decisions.
• Ensure that all the reports submitted to the IPEF donors are completed to a high standard and on a timely basis
• Ensure compliance by PIDG TA with the PIDG OPPS and PIDG Code of Conduct.
• Work with the PIDG Finance Team to ensure that drawings of any TA comply with the terms of the donors’ or donor’s Letter of Arrangement/Grant Contract or equivalent.
• Work with the Head of Investor Relations to coordinate discussions with IPEF donor countries regarding the provision of new funding, including replenishment of the CCF.

Other Activities

• Promote PIDG TA as an integral and effective part of PIDG and help to build the PIDG TA business and create value for PIDG TA within PIDG and externally.

About the role

We are looking for a Human Resource Manager that is excited about the below Mission and Outcomes over the next 6-12 months.

Mission: The HR Manager will play a fundamental role in shaping a positive and inclusive workplace culture, supporting the Head of HR in delivering initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention and development. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the assessment of IT Control Environment and framework that suits Traveloka’s needs
• Evaluate and update IT controls, cybersecurity protocols, and compliance processes in line with Traveloka’s Group SOX ICOFR guidelines
• Analyze IT processes & controls to identify key IT risks, lapses, or potential enhancements across business operations
• Advocate and drive the transition towards automated controls to boost efficiency
• Lead coordination in remediating IT audit issues in collaboration with operations and technology divisions
• Analyze and design IT SOX controls supporting business processes and other compliance topics to identify risk and control weaknesses
• Manage SOX-specific IT activities, ensuring up-to-date documentation like system flowcharts and risk control matrices
• Develop and provide IT control training to bridge organizational knowledge gaps, keeping teams abreast of compliance benchmarks
• Work to mitigate and remediate identified deficiencies with the business in a timely manner
• Promote the use of SOX control & risk management tool to PICs and assist PICs in managing control development effectively on the tool

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computing related majors with IT audit qualifications preferred
• A minimum of 8 years in IT audit and control roles, encompassing IT control management, cybersecurity, IT audit, and operational management
• Prior experience in Big 4 IT auditing is required
• Over 6 years of expertise in SOX-oriented IT audit & controls
• Certified Internal Audit (CIA), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), or similar certifications highly desirable. Thorough understanding of internal control concepts, especially SOX and COSO frameworks
• Comprehensive understanding of ITGC & ITELC best practices, cybersecurity protocols, and associated regulations
• Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple IT projects
• Excellent communication abilities for effective interactions with internal and external parties

We are looking for a Human Resource Manager that is excited about the below Mission and Outcomes over the next 6-12 months.

Mission:

The HR Manager will play a fundamental  role in shaping a positive and inclusive workplace culture, supporting the Head of HR in delivering initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention and development. The HR manager is also responsible for delivering seamless HR operations across all  regions with a focus on office management, employee data compliance, payroll, staff training, coordinating and reviewing engagement surveys and benefits programs. 

Outcomes: 

1. Ensure 100% accurate and timely payroll processing, In collaboration with the Finance department, across all regions and resolving any payroll-related discrepancies 

2. Maintain accuracy with zero to two data errors each month by managing and maintaining employee data, ensuring all employee contracts, benefits, and personal data are up-to-date on a weekly basis, accurate and securely stored in the regional HRIS and the HR masterlist

3. Achieve 90% office capacity in our 3 Singapore offices from Monday to Friday and create a welcoming work environment ,including stocking pantry supplies, managing the biometric system for employee access and working with vendors for cleaning, aircon servicing, and other office needs  and to resolve other office related issues promptly

4. Ensure compliance with Singapore employment laws, including the Employment Act, CPF regulations, and statutory leave entitlements. Provide guidance to staff on employment-related matters to ensure all HR practices align with current labour laws

5. Input into and lead the delivery of HR projects and initiatives, aiming for a smooth onboarding experience without  major issues for  Singapore- based employees. Collect employee engagement data from at least 40% of staff and present insights to management by the 5th of each month. Support the development and execution of employee engagement programs, ensuring alignment and consistency in  collaboration with the regional HR teams

6. Lead campus recruitment efforts,. by building relationships with at least 3 educational institutions in Singapore, participating in at least 2 career fairs each year and maintaining a pipeline of top candidates while managing Singapore-based recruitment and collaborating with hiring managers to fill roles efficiently. Onboard and train our Singapore- based HR interns by guiding them to work productively with minimal errors and to independently take on recruitment efforts

To do this, you will have a minimum of 7 years experience as a HR Manager with a proven track record in managing HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement. Experience in leading HR projects and initiatives and you will be located in Singapore

About the interview process

The successful candidate will participate in the below interview stages. 

It might seem like a lot - but fear not - we come prepared! We anticipate the process to last no more than 3 weeks from start to finish depending on your availability.

Whether the interviews are held over video call or in person will depend on your location and the role. 

Introductory call

• A ~30 minute video call with a member of our HR team to discuss your application and get a better understanding of your experience and expectations for the role

Project or case study or technical test

• If it’s a project, you’ll have 1 week to complete a short assignment related to what you’ll actually be required to do in your first month on the job. You’ll then present some slides/ designs/ a doc/ an excel model/ some code to a few members of the team, followed by Q&A

• If it’s a case study, there’s nothing to prepare.  You’ll have a ~45-60 minute chat with the Hiring Manager, where he or she will give you some real-life challenges that this role faces, and will ask for your approach to solving them
• If it’s a technical test, it is usually a 30-50 minute online assessment that will be conducted in real-time, while a member of staff is dialled into the call

Career deep dive 

• A ~60 minute chat with the Hiring Manager
• We’ll discuss your last couple of roles to understand your experience in more detail
