Responsibilities

• Assist the Sous Chef / Operations Chef in managing and administering the kitchen operations.

• Maintain food quality, presentation, kitchen labour & related cost controls.

• Ensure that standard operation procedures are consistently adhered to.

• Maintain & follow through on proper maintenance and sanitation of kitchen equipment and facilities.

• Assign specific duties to all kitchen staff under his supervision and set expectations for their work.

• Participate in outlet staff scheduling, evaluation, training, etc.

• Suggest and assist with menu and recipe upgrading, development, costing & implementation

• Attend Food & Beverage meetings and briefings as and when required, conduct daily line ups and ensure appropriate information is channelled to the team in an effective manner.

• Ensure effective lines of communication are in place at all level

• Setup workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment

• Monitor stock and place order when there are shortages

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant working experience.

• At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.

Your Role:

• Lead the Sales Team: Oversee all aspects of the sales function, driving growth and exceeding sales targets.

• Team Dynamics: Monitor the performance of front-end team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize their success.

• Client Acquisition & Retention: Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients (both government and non-government clients) and retain existing ones.

• Lead Generation & Conversion: Closely collaborate with the Marketing team to qualify leads, manage the sales pipeline, and convert leads into profitable business.

• Growth & Development: Partner with the Executive Director to develop and implement business growth plans, including increasing public awareness of SFATC and refining the business model.

• Customer Service Excellence: Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring exceptional service quality and exceeding client expectations with every interaction.

• Staff Management & Development: Track staff performance, conduct performance appraisals, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs to enhance team skills and performance.

• Process Optimization: Partner with the Business Systems team to identify and implement improvements in workflows and systems for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

Your Expertise:

• Bachelors or Masters in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably within the training industry.

• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving consistent revenue growth.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

• Excellent client relationship management skills, with a focus on building long-term partnerships.

• Tender writing, bidding and proposal development experience, particularly in the government and non-government sectors.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM / Sales Management software.

• Passion for first aid training and a commitment to SFATC's mission of saving lives.
