4. Assist customers of the BDO SG Branch in the investment account opening application by providing necessary guidance, disclosures and explanations to them;

5. Assist in the categorization of customers (e.g. professional investors, customers with / without derivative knowledge, etc.) by obtaining the necessary documentary proofs and confirmations from the customers;

6. Conduct the investment product selling process upon receiving order instructions from customers;

7. Explain the investment product features, risks, fees and charges, and other sales-related information to the customer;

8. Perform suitability assessment to identify Unsuitable Products (as defined below) (which are disallowed for sale) or Mismatch Products (which require approval from management prior to execution of the order instruction);

9. Conduct other selling process as regulated by the policy and procedures and obtain the required acknowledgement and confirmations from customers during the investment product selling process to satisfy the disclosure requirements.

10. Keep updated on market trends, different investment products and services, and give input for new product development by being aware of clients’ investment needs.

We are recruiting for a PERE – their AUM stands at about USD 28billion with mandates across Asia Pacific in commercial, logistics and student accommodation.

You will be supporting capital raising, investor outreach and engagement, structuring and marketing of private funds. You will also support their group strategic initiatives.

This will include:

• Support the Group’s growth objectives in syndication/fund structuring as well as project management of capital raising process (with focus on fund syndication and managing investor due diligence) for private real estate funds.
• Actively source and manage relationships with private capital partners as well as capital raising channels and develop strong understanding of current deployment needs and preferences of investors.
• Maintain quality communication channels with both internal and external clients.
• Work with Asset, Investment and Finance teams to better understand the business plans and fund raising requirements in order to market the group
• Responsible for Group and fund level marketing materials with active support on the investor engagement front

Job Requirements

• Degree in Finance / Business / Commerce / Real Estate or its equivalent.
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in corporate finance, corporate planning and fund raising for a large organization, investment bank or corporate finance institution.
• Direct experience with investor engagement, development of relationships and business development
• Possess good quantitative skills and a foundation in finance and financial analysis, preferably as it relates to real estate.
• Ability to analyse and evaluate project level cash flows and returns, manage deadlines efficiently, and understand the legal and operational issues.
