Job scope:

• Receiving of goods and tallying of goods with paperwork

Job Purpose:

To ensure a safe and efficient receipt, storage, pick, pack and / or dispatch of goods to customer

Responsibilities:

• Receive goods and put away to storage locations
• Picking and packing customer orders for dispatch and / or shipping tasks
• Perform additional value-added services on customer ordered goods
• Requirements to follow the proper component handling procedures
• Move stocks around either by provided trolleys and / or hand-pallet jacks
• Carry out inventory cycle count as and when required to
• Ensure any manual lifting and manoeuvring of products is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
• Operate in a safe manner complying with all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
• Keep the Management informed of any discrepancy, abnormality, and potential safety hazard(s), whether it is work or non-work related

Our client, a well-known Japanese company is looking for candidates for the position of Trading Assistant.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to Team Leader (or General Manager or Chief Operating Officer) for assisting respective Trader(s) for physical cargo deals/trading, including analysis.
• Work with Traders daily to understand the market, trading strategy and basic trading skills or views.
• Carry out market research, monitor and manage reports, KYC.
• On-boarding of new customers.
• Other ad hoc assignments as necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience working for international oil or gas company.
• Knowledge of international business, maritime law, and terms related to oil trading.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English. Proficiency in Mandarin will be advantageous.
