The National University of Singapore invites applications for Research Assistant to conduct a research project on Development and Application of innovative bioactivity assays for drug discovery for cancer therapy” in the Department of Biochemistry and Centre for Cancer Research, NUS. • Adhoc Payment (TT, Cashier Order etc)
• Key in GIRO payment
• Registrar of group fixed asset & site equipment
• Updating & monitoring of fixed asset register & site equipment
• Banking matter (open & update account / loan matter / FD / etc.. )
• Assist on any ad-hoc tasks required by CFO or supervisor

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in relevant field
• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, SharePoint
• Able to handle full set of accoutnts

Responsibilities

• Respond to telephone/online catering sales enquiries
• Build and maintain good client relationship and rapport
• Solicit new corporate clients through cold calling and sales visit
• Assist clients in professional event planning, packaging and menu selection
• Keep abreast of trends and developments in catering industry
• Actively brainstorming of creative ideas in improving catering services to clients
• Account for sales and profitability of event orders and ensure smooth operations of catering functions

Requirements

• Possess O Level / Diploma / Degree in Business, Marketing with at least 5 years of relevant experience in F & B industry will be an advantage
• Able to converse effectively in English and Mandarin to manage Mandarin speaking clients
• Self discplined, proactive and have strong sense of urgency
• Must be self-driven, dynamic, meticulous, creative and sales oriented
• Outgoing personality, highly motivated, independent individual and yet an inclusive team player
