• Clean and tidy 2 NFS kitchens, food preparation and needlework rooms.
• Prepare ingredients and equipment for teachers to conduct Food & Nutrition (F&N) activities and practical work in the NFS kitchens daily.
• Prepare students’ ingredients and materials before lesson.
• Assist in checking and storing of goods.
• Assist in stock taking of equipment in the NFS kitchens, food preparation and needlework rooms.
• Assist to ensure safety in the kitchen eg switching off of gas valves, safe keeping of sharp objects such as knives.
• Assist in ensuring the kitchen is ready for N and O levels National examinations.
• Assist in doing major spring cleaning of 2 NFS kitchens, food preparation and needlework rooms during the June and December school holidays.
• Any ad hoc duties assigned as and when required based on the needs of the school.

Requirements

• Primary school education
• Preferably 3 years working experience in the related field
• Completed ‘Workplace Safety and Health Practices Implementation’ (WSH Level 1)

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 30mins lunch break
• Fridays: 7:00am to 3:30pm, inclusive of 30mins lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

• Handle telephone call and enquiries
• Dealing with tenants on quotations and payments
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/ Word/ Outlook)
• Administer and co-ordinate tenancy administration, agreement stamping and billing
• Preparation of monthly financial report (Accounts Receivable)

Chops! was founded in 2015 with an aim to provide affordable local western fare. Today, Chops! is embarking on a mission to serve wholesome, fast casual western fare for everyone. We will be expanding to new outlets across the island and are currently looking for dynamic and motivated individuals to join our expanding team.

Job Scope:

1. Ensure consistency and high standards of food cooking processes according to Company's SOP.

2. Make cleanliness of premises and food hygiene practices a priority; coordinate day and night clean up.

3. Work closely with the Upper Management and individual outlet Kitchen Chefs to review and improve existing menu as well as create seasonal specials.

4. Ensure that outlet's inventory management and stock forecasting is optimised to prevent wastage and ensure 100% menu availability during business hours.

5. Lead a successful and motivated kitchen team to achieve key Gross Sales and Cost of Goods Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the Management.
