Job Summary

We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Officer to ensure our bank complies with domestic and international financial regulations and policies. This role focuses on understanding financial regulatory requirements and providing strategic direction for their implementation within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Check bank's compliance with MAS regulations and reports submitted to MAS.
• Conduct research and analysis on financial regulations and policies.
• Develop policies and processes to apply regulatory requirements within the organization.
• Conduct internal education and training on regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with external audits and regulatory agencies.
• Continuously improve and update regulatory compliance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial regulation or compliance.
• Broad understanding and experience with financial regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a team and demonstrate leadership skills.

Preferable

• Direct communication experience with MAS.
• Consulting experience related to the enactment and revision of banking regulations.

• Develop and implement audit plans and strategies to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Lead and manage audit teams to ensure timely completion of audits and achievement of audit objectives
• Identify and assess potential risks and control weaknesses, and develop recommendations for improvement
• Review and evaluate audit findings, and prepare comprehensive audit reports for management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and resolution of audit issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and incorporate them into audit processes and procedures
• Provide guidance and training to audit staff, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and professional guidelines, and maintain confidentiality of audit information

• Efficiently, courteously and expediently welcome, handle, check in, check out and bid farewell for all VIP lounge guests ensuring their comfort and satisfaction, adhering by the hotel standards required.
• Efficiently and courteously provide cashiering-related services and foreign exchange.
• Adhere to all credit procedures and accounting procedures as they pertain to the registration process.
• Efficiently and courteously provide information and assistance and maintain excellent relations at all times.
• To handle all keys, mail, telexes, messages and any other items for guest as requested.
• To assign rooms and prepare keys/folders for all arriving guests.
• Maintain good guest relations with in-house guests at all times.
• o contribute in developing the hotel’s Guest History system by obtaining relevant details and inputting them into the hotel information system.
• Efficiently and courteously provide Food & Beverage related services ensuring guests’ comfort and satisfaction, adhering by the hotel standard required.
• Perform other duties related or unrelated to VIP lounge or as assigned by Manager.
