The Chief Business Officer will be responsible for developing and executing the Sales & Business Development strategy in the APAC region. The role brings in leadership, vision, and creativity in building sales funnel for products and solutions, converting the funnel into revenue stream. The successful candidate will define and drive high-impact, cross functional strategies, and plans. S/he will engage with key clients to deliver sustainable and future sales and revenue growth. This is a critical leadership role that reports to the CEO.
Business Development:
• Leading efforts to identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations
• Evaluating and negotiating business deals, contracts, and agreements
• Accurately forecasting team revenue on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Developing a strong sales strategy to achieve the forecasted growth by identifying top partners and enterprise prospects
• Taking accountability for prospecting target clients for increased business growth
• Building healthy and ethical bonds with new and existing clients
Sales & Marketing:
• Developing and implementing effective strategies to drive revenue growth
• Taking ownership for managing and delivering full sales cycle: marketing, lead generation, prospecting, pitching, collection and closing business
• Contributing towards analyzing and planning innovative sales strategies
• Identifying new opportunities for sales campaigns that can lead to increased sales (e) Being the face of the company at events, trade fairs etc.
Innovation and Technology:
• Staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements
• Implementing innovative solutions to improve business processes and stay ahead of the competition • Recommending and assisting in new product development and continuous improvement and monitoring of existing products
• Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly Legal Compliance:
• Ensuring the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Working with HRDC to ensure all norms being followed
Financial Management:
• Overseeing the financial health of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning • Working closely with the Head of Finance/CFO to ensure financial goals are met and resources are allocated effectively
Requirements
• Extensive experience in executive sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in business development and strategic planning with 10+ years at an executive level
