• Independently implement Design Safety Philosophy, HSE Plan, and standards for fire prevention systems (active and passive), HFE, etc.

Job requirements

• A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or its equivalent from an authorized university.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced support engineer to join our Platform Support Engineering team in Singapore. The candidate will be a part of a team that provides front line support for our proprietary quantitative trading platform. The team provide follow the sun support (alongside counterparts based in UK and US) providing 24/7 monitoring and support for Schonfeld’s trading environment as well as closely working with the development teams to ensure reliability, maintainability and performance of the production environment.

The Platform Support Engineer will serve as the first point of contact for production issues, support requests and alerts. You will investigate and solve issues/outages as they occur and escalate as necessary. The Engineer will collaborate with software development teams to ensure successful deployment of new code into production. The ideal candidate will also automate processes and workflows as well as building tools for our environment.
