Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Engineer

Main purpose of role
The CMMS Engineer is a functional support role that is responsible for and/or provide support to;
1. Select asset management processes and procedures fundamental to the Company’s operations management system.
2. Implementation and governance of the Maintenance management policies, procedures, and processes.
3. Development and Management of Maintenance related data and information
4. Operations Planning Activities
5. Continuous improvement of CMMS based on operational and contractual requirements
Key Role & Accountabilities
This position shall provide a full portfolio of services including, but not limited to:
Responsible for Maintenance Processes
1. Administration of the CMMS for operational assets
2. Responsible for asset management of engineering changes
3. Review the CMMS procedures and processes to ensure they are being adhered to and remain fit for purpose. Develop solutions to support areas of improvement
4. Carry out maintenance performance and assurance audits in accordance with defined processes & procedures
5. Coaching and mentoring personnel onshore and offshore in the O&M processes and operation of the CMMS; encouraging peer learning, sharing lessons learnt and maintaining a consistent approach to processes
6. Critical spares and inventory control
7. Training and support of personnel in CMMS (eMaint).
Key Duties
Maintenance & Improvement
1. Perform analysis on current maintenance performance with the aim of identifying areas for improvement
2. Plan and implement maintenance assurance improvement
3. Analysing the performance data, highlighting achievements and areas for improvements, and proposing how to share good practice between Duty Holder Assets
4. Failure Report – administer company’s failure report. Review and update CMMS as required
Verification & HSEQ Compliance
1. Support the O&M team in meeting commitments to the regulators ie Class & Flag State
2. Monitor compliance with verification schedule and execution plan
3. Monitor compliance with the formal technical assurance process
4. Ensure a robust and consistent standard of risk assessment associated with corrective maintenance work orders and deferrals
5. Support delivery of maintenance deferral reductions
6. Support a culture of continuous HSEQ performance improvement via transfer of knowledge and sharing of best practice
7. Participate in audits
CMMS Data and Support
1. Manage agreed changes to CMMS, liaising with stakeholders and support user acceptance testing
2. Carry out assurance audits as agreed with O&M team, analyse data, and provide recommendations
3. Act as a focal point for communicating proposed improvements to the system gathered from the wider O&M community, audits, KPIs data and reviews.
Planning and Scheduling
1. Work with relevant stakeholders in optimizing planned maintenance schedule
2. Ensure deferred, temporary, shutdown maintenance works are correctly recorded
Administration
1. Ensure all data, analyses and reports are held appropriately within the shared drives and any SharePoint sites

Knowledge & Qualifications
1. Diploma / Degree or Equivalent qualifications is essential
2. Able to demonstrate continuing personal and professional development is essential
3. Prior Knowledge CMMS and Database is essential
4. Experience of offshore or plant based on site working is essential
5. Experience in delivering maintenance performance improvement is essential
6. Experience with planning tools MS Project, Primavera and Power BI is essential
7. Marine/Maintenance background and experience is preferred
