SCOPE

The Senior Manager, Head of Global Ocean Tender Pricing, will oversee the pricing strategy for ocean freight tenders, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing models while maximizing the market position of DSV. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing market trends, and developing pricing strategies that meet the needs of our clients and align with our business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement global pricing strategies for ocean tenders to enhance competitiveness and profitability.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify pricing trends, competitor strategies, and client requirements.
• Manage annual RFQ planning and strategy setting, ensuring alignment with the overall commercial strategy and business objectives.
• Prioritize RFQ responses and pricing strategies based on commercial strategy and market dynamics.
• Collaborate with the commercial organization to support bid processes and ensure won contracts are aligned with pricing guidelines.
• Provide vertical support to ensure pricing consistency and optimization across various market segments.
• Explore and implement automation solutions to enhance pricing processes and improve efficiency.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing insights and strategic recommendations based on pricing structures.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to evaluate pricing effectiveness and recommend adjustments as necessary.
• Manage a multinational team of pricing individuals and improve collaboration between regional product teams.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve processes and systems related to pricing and tender management.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing management or a related role within the logistics or transportation sector.
• Proven track record in ocean freight pricing, tender management, or a similar capacity.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Familiarity with pricing software and tools is advantageous.
• Knowledge of global shipping regulations and market dynamics is preferred.

• Acting as the intermediary between designers, clients, and architects to ensure the projects progress efficiently and effectively
• Lead in BIM implementation, Standards, Modelling workflow & methodologies
• Liaise with Project Manager on BIM implementation based on project needs & requirement
• Prepare, execute, and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
• Have a good understanding of the project requirements and ensure its delivery
• Pre-consultation, site meetings, and project meetings
• Monitor and ensure the drawing submission schedule is achieved

Responsibilities:

Conduct forecasting and planning of materials to ensure smooth production process
Schedule and plan production activities based on job orders
Monitor the lead time of producing the finished product
Update and check inventory physical stock and arrange production of finished goods to meet the sales order

Liaise with suppliers for powder coating
Troubleshoot discrepancies and quality issues

Responsibilities：

• In charge of full spectrum of recruitment cycle including preparing and posting of job descriptions, interviewing, and handling on / off-boarding
• Process employee data in the HRIS system and monthly payroll to ensure its accuracy
• Coordinate the day-to-day workflow of subordinates in the HR department
• Provide advisories to the management with regard to employment issues which includes labour legislations, best local labour practices, company manpower practices and ensure legal compliances with all statutory requirements
• Reviewing human resources policies and procedures
• Hands on with HR issues such as employee relations, grievances, complaints and provide counselling / guidance
• Prepare and discuss on regular HR reports
• Monitor performance, identify and facilitate opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency
