The Digital Technology Manager (DTM) coordinates Convertium’s web technology team to deliver best-in-class thinking, planning and execution of digital solutions.

This role requires expansive interest and skills in a broad range of digital technologies, including frontend and backend development, web infrastructure, and cybersecurity. Besides team coordination, the DTM is involved with solutioning and consultanting.

People management and mentoring skills are important. You will be working with a diverse team of web technologists, including frontend and backend developers, web operators, and QA specialists.

Expect to work on a wide range of clients' industries, including financial services, automotive, education, hospitality, and government. This is a client-facing role.

The DTM reports to the management supervisor of the Web Technology practice.

Required Skills & Knowledge

Job Summary

The Internal Audit and Compliance Manager plans, manages, and performs audits, including determining audit objectives and scope, identifying and assessing risks, developing time budgets and audit programs, and ensuring compliance with Internal Audit work paper standards for each audit.

The Role

• Set up internal audit framework and assist in the development of appropriate audit programs
• Assess and carry out risk-based audits and reviews of the Group’s systems, policies, arrangements, and procedures to assess whether the internal controls are adequate and effective. Work with management to identify root causes and develop practical and acceptable solutions to address issues or gaps identified.
• Schedule, plan, and complete assigned audit assignments as per the approved audit plan.
• Perform and complete all audit work and work papers in accordance with internal audit professional standards.
• Draft audit reports to make recommendations and suggest corrective actions which are operationally practical, effective, and efficient.
• Present findings and recommendations to Senior management.
• Conduct thorough follow-up of corrective action plans before due dates to ensure remediation is implemented on time.
• Maintain an awareness of trends and “best practices” in the internal audit and hospitality industry.
• Perform or assist in the performance of special reviews at the request of management.
• Support the company in its continuous effort of enhancement and modernization of its internal audit approach, including the use of audit systems, technology, and data analytics.
• Contribute to other assignments such as control self-assessment rollouts and follow-up/review of the completed self-assessments.
• Conduct training to hotel team on internal audit processes and procedures including but not limited to self-assessment as well as sharing latest update on internal audit development.

Talent Profile

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting / Finance / Business Management or related disciplines.

Candidate with professional certification such as CPA, CIA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Work Experience

Minimum 5 years of hotel internal auditing experience or hotel finance experience.

Technical Skills

Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin are required.

Good knowledge and practical experience about risks, internal controls, data analytics, risk management, governance, audit techniques and methods

Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.

Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multitask.

Job Description:

New Business

• Support MD on acquiring new media opportunities to grow and entrench the company’s market leader position strategically.
• To achieve this, the KPIs include:

1. Writing winning proposals with compelling arguments, meaningful insights and measurable action plans
2. Assisting in participating tenders, answers Requests for Proposals (RFP)
3. Ensuring our proposed advertising programs comply with regulatory guidelines whilst meeting market demands.
4. Coordinating with internal stakeholders for essential details to make winning offers

City Relations

• Play a key role in

1. building and strengthening relationships with government concession partners through professional servicing, responsive, prompt, and reliable communications.
2. establishing good relations with relevant regulatory authorities for consult on policies/regulations governing outdoor advertising.

• Responsible for managing government advertising concessions which includes day-to-day activities such as

1. facilitating campaign approvals
2. applying for BCA licensing
3. making prompt communications to key stakeholders
4. making accurate and timely monthly sales reports
5. conducting site checks as necessary to ensure fulfilment of contractual obligations

• Collaborate closely with internal teams to meet contractual obligations including but not limited to:

With Project and Operations teams

1. deliver quality design and safe implementation of media assets
2. ensure safe maintenance operations and consistent service standards
3. attend monthly meetings with government partners and preparation of meeting minutes
4. accurate and timely submission of routine reports such as sales and maintenance operations reports, etc
