About the role

Reporting to the Regional Credit Manager, this intern will be part of a larger team within the Asia Pacific Finance department, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to minimise company financial risk and assist in enforcing existing policies and procedures. This 6-month full-time internship commences December 2024/January 2025.

What you will be doing

• Ensure monthly Credit Management Reporting is submitted to Regional Management/HQ on timely basis
• Assist the Regional Credit Management team to request and pursue payment on delinquent/Close monitoring accounts via communication with account holder
• Review and update account status according to established guidelines
• Maintains log of payment promises and pertinent account details; schedules follow-up communication with account holder
• Responsible for handling the collection activity for delinquent accounts and enforcing collection policies & procedures
• Follow up with internal customers & external customers to ensure overdue amounts are paid promptly
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to non-payment of invoices

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this role is to ensure the optimum performance of the funds/ assets under their management and to provide the highest standards of service to the clients to whom they report. Usually responsible for less complex/small funds and/or assets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Seeks delivery of superior performance, client service and stakeholder value for investors in the Fund.
• With assistance from Fund Manager, responsible for ongoing management and supervision of the fund, which may include asset and transaction management.
• Fund Managers demonstrate a sound working knowledge of either the mandate or direction setting out the Terms and Conditions upon which the assigned Fund(s) are managed.
• Pro-actively provides sufficient updated information to Investor Relations to enable coherent, robust and persuasive investment strategy presentations.
• With assistance from more senior Fund Manager, sets and delivers all aspects of the funds' or portfolio strategy and performance and delivers optimum investment return including the use of debt where necessary.
• Drafts the annual and quarterly reports for sign-off by senior fund manager.
• Prepares valuations, cash flow modeling and performance projections of funds for which they are responsible and presents to Fund Managers.
