7) To Interpret of specifications, compliances, terms and conditions, drawings and any other relevant document including getting budget approval from the relevant approving authorities and assist on the sub-contractor awarding process

8) Able to find potential variance order

9) To involve in planning and technical co-ordination of M&E and BDE services installation work

10) Assist and support the Project Director and Senior Project Manager in handling and monitoring the progress of projects to ensure that work on site is on schedule

11) To coordinate with the relevant authorities for design approval and work permission

12) Ensure that all works carried out exceeds industry standards and are in compliance with local legislations, QHSE requirements and other regulations

Job Requirements

1) Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering and degree recognised by Singapore PEB board

2) Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience and at least completed 1 LTA Bus depot or LTA infrastructure project after tertiary education in related fields for construction supervision of similar scale and complexity

3) Familiar PSSOC contract

4) Proficient in BIM software and AUTOCAD will be an added advantage

5) Preferably with experience in writing tender specifications

6) Good communication, written and analytical skills

Responsibilities:

• To be responsible for managing the seafarer’s payroll for all assigned vessels.
• To respond promptly to inquiries from seafarers and/or their families regarding salary information and social needs.
• To ensure accuracy of the bank details entered in the crew payroll system.
• To ensure seafarers are paid according to their contracts.
• To ensure timely payment of all balances due to seafarers, such as leave pay, medical leave pay, medical disbursement, and other allowances and overtime payments.
• To ensure cash advances and other outstanding balances of seafarers are deducted from monthly wages and/or their allotment.
• To be responsible for entering reimbursements, allowances, and deductions in the system.
• Check the correctness of the allotment list and process payroll accordingly to ensure timely transfer of allotments to seafarer-designated beneficiaries.
• Responsible for the timely payment of wages on the approved payroll cycle.
• Prepare all correspondence to the Account Department, Master, and other relevant parties as deemed necessary.
• To submit CPF contributions (for Singaporean seamen) promptly.
• To arrange monthly Cash to Master and liaise with port agents for quotations and arrangements.
• To ensure timely arrangement of Cash to Master remittance.
• Conduct month-end closing of ship accounts and monitor the balance of float.
• Perform month-end closing of vessel victualing accounts.
• Prepare and present monthly payroll analysis reports, highlighting key trends, discrepancies, and recommendations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll data and seafarer personal information.
• Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Accounting, Operations) and external stakeholders (e.g., port agents, manning agencies) to ensure seamless payroll management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll management to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist in special projects or tasks related to crew welfare, cost management, or other crewing department functions as required by the Manager or management.

Job scope:

To provide non-teaching administrative support to the teaching staff in the following areas :

Recess Duty

· Relief duty in looking after pupils in classes/CCAs that have no teachers in attendance during/after school as assigned by Year Heads

After-School Dismissal Duty

Exam Matters and Teaching Materials

· Prepare teaching resources for teachers and department heads

· Scan Optical Answer Sheets for P3 to P6 exams

· Check, count and sort report books according to class register numbers after exams

Other Duties

· Update P1 to P6 class allocation at the end of the year

· Print and check mass class allocation input

· Assist in pre-event duties for Prelims and PSLE duties such as putting up labels and seating plans in all classrooms

· Support in Prelims and PSLE duties as liaison officers on all days of examinations (Oral, Listening, Written)

· Assist in pre-event administrative duties for P1 Orientation

· Collate and place food orders for all exam standardisation exercises during school examination periods (WA1, WA2, Prelims, SA2)

· Assist in packing goodies bags for events like National Day, Teachers’ Day, Children Day events and counting of pamphlets

· Collate pupils’ and parents’ feedback from pupils’/parents’ surveys

· Taking down and typing out minutes of Contact Time meetings

· Data entry duties as assigned by Principal, Vice Principals, Head of Department and Year Heads
