1. Develops, adopts, enforces, oversees, and/or implements policies and procedures on a range of student a!airs issues such as class absences, refund appeals, and withdrawals; coordinates and enforces dean of students policies and procedures, and ensures compatibility with locally operating policies.

2. Determines and interprets student services needs on an individual basis, and initiates referrals to appropriate student and/or academic services; advises students on policy issues, acts as student advocate, and resolves problems as necessary.

3. Designs, develops, coordinates, and presents a wide range of workshops, conferences, training sessions, and retreats for students, parents, and sta!; manages, coordinates, and facilitates all facets of on-campus student orientation activities associated with the family connection program.

4. Designs and develops curriculum and implements educational programs for students on such topics as racism, prejudice, discrimination, and stereotypes; develops, manages, and coordinates various diversity and anti-discrimination programs and monitors e!ectiveness through student behavior.

5. Oversees marketing, administration, and logistics for a range of special events, to include selection, coordination, and scheduling of entertainers, keynote speakers, and facilitators, organization of facilities and food services, and the design and production of marketing materials and publications.

6. Collects and analyzes statistical data, and develops reports, reporting systems, instruments, mechanisms, and standards designed to evaluate e!ectiveness of programs and services.

7. Supervises personnel which typically includes recommendations for hiring, "ring, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution.

8. Administers the Dean of Students short term loan fund; assesses needs and approves short- term emergency loans in accordance with established policies and procedures.

9. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Our Education. SCIS offers the Ph.D. in Information Systems and Ph.D. in Computer Science programmes. Ph.D. students can concentrate in any of our computer science oriented research areas, or in our management science oriented Information Systems & Management research area.

SCIS launched a Professional Doctoral Degree, Doctor of Engineering (EngD) in 2020. The programme aims to train students to become IT leaders with deep technical expertise for innovating, designing and managing complex IT systems.

SCIS also offers Master of IT in Business (MITB), a professionally oriented coursework programme. Drawing from thought leadership in the ambits of data analytics, technological platforms and business strategies, the MITB programme delves into four specialisation tracks: Financial Technology & Analytics, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation. Each of these tracks uniquely resources students to lead competently and decisively.

Additionally, the undergraduate programmes offerings consist of the B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.Sc. (Information Systems), B.Sc. (Computing & Law) and B.Sc. Software Engineering programmes. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a strategic partner, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) aligns the people strategies & policies in the assigned Division(s) with the overall THKMC mission, vision and objectives. The HRBP serves as a consultant to the Divisional Director(s) and managers on HR-related issues, while at the same time, act as employee champion and change agent to all in the assigned Divisions. HRBP assesses and anticipates HR-related needs, and regularly communicate these needs within HR and with the Heads of the Business Units. The HRBP forms partnership and build relationship to deliver value-added services to both management and employees that reflect the desired outcome of THKMCs people strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Build a relationship as a trusted HR advisor with Divisional Directors and managers in the Organisation / Division.
• Partner with the Division on their manpower planning and requirements. Implement recruitment strategies and processes to fill the vacancies.
• Manage and resolve any employee relations issues such as disciplinary and employee grievances.
• Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
• Provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation.
• Initiate improvements to internal HR processes, systems and communications towards enhancing service and user experience.
• Support all employees lifecycle events (i.e. Contracts renewal, transfers, probation, promotion, etc).
• Liaise with MOM on work pass applications and renewals.
• Assists in monthly payroll processing.
• Conduct exit interviews, compile and analyse the attrition reasons.
• Prepare monthly and adhoc reports for analysis.
• Participate in and manage HR projects and initiatives.

• Degree in Human Resource Management or related qualifications
• Minimum 6-8 years of relevant working experience in HR Generalist role
• Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Experience in project management and implementation
• Good knowledge of Employment Act and Labour Laws
• Ability to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively within the team
