My client is a reputable bunkering and energy trading company with offices around the globe. They are hiring an experienced Finance Manager for their Singapore office. This is a newly created role in Singapore hence there is a need to set up the accounting system for Singapore office.

Reporting directly to the Head of Singapore, you will prepare monthly financial statements, performing bank reconciliation, variance analysis, managing cashfolow, maintaining FA register, reviewing GST returns, monitoring inventory system, liaising with auditors and banks.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA equivalent
• Min 6 years of accounting experience with full set of experience with prior xperience in fuel oil and gas/ commodity trading industry would be advatanges
• Experience in Mark to market (MTM) and paper swaps will be advantages

RESPONSIBILITIES

Overview:

In this role, you will support our Services to plan and implement new initiatives and innovations as we drive the organisations Strategic Plan.

You will be involved to a great degree in understanding our Services needs and identify relevant strategies to raise the bar and efficacy of our Services through performance tracking and indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse data & generate reports to support decision-making processes.
• Provide insights & recommendations to senior management based on analysis findings.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes & systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather & document business requirements.
• Identify & resolve issues & bottlenecks within business processes.
• Assist in preparing discussion & presentation papers of Strategic Planning team.
• Assist in updating THKMC Management dashboard for monitoring & reporting KPIs.
• Add value by participating in improvement projects & task forces.
• Work with Head (SPRM) to achieve functional objectives & deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Post-graduate degree or professional certification would be a plus.
• Min 5 years' experience in data management / analytics.
• Competency in data analysis tools & techniques for informed decision making.
• Familiarity with data strategy / management.
• Good working knowledge of change management initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI & Tableau.
• Participated in Change Management initiatives.
• Experience in explaining data concepts to non-technical users.
• Detailed oriented. Able to work independently.
• Positive learning attitude. A strong team player.
• Good communication skills, both written & verbal.
