The department is Business Development. This department plays the role of revenue and occupancy management for our portfolio of Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) assets across Australia. Your designation is Associate, Business Development. You will report directly to the relevant manager or senior of the team. Occasional travel to Australia is required.

Scope of Work

Your role is to assist the team in its responsibilities, which includes the following (but not limited to):

• Revenue and occupancy management – Work with third party operator to manage the revenue and occupancy of a portfolio of PBSA assets in Australia
• Pricing Management - Set rate strategies for all properties and undertake active pricing management.
• Performance Reporting - To report to management on performance of portfolio on a regular basis.
• Prepare a revenue strategy for each asset and monitor performance against budget.
• Work with the asset management team to prepare and monitor the property budget.
• Provides the overall direction for marketing campaigns and coordinate with third party operator marketing department to execute.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years hands-on experience in Python (e.g. especially in packages like NumPy, Pandas) and SQL or any data analysis langauge. Version control systems (e.g. Git) is a plus.
• Knowledge in statistics, probability and open-source machine learning libraries (e.g. scikit, tensorflow)
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI)

About the role

A) Job Description

1) To liaise with client and Professional Engineer (PE) in solving technical and detailing

issues of scaffolding works based on the site requirements.

2) To interpret construction drawings for any discrepancies and to propose the alternative

design or work method for Scaffolding works.

3) Coordinate with site teams and PE to ensure timely submission and approval of design and COS for site installation to meet site progress schedule.

4) Liaising with the sales team & client for proposal of scaffolding design to prepare Bill of Quantity

(BQ) for Tender submission documents.

5) Scaffolding design and proposal drawing preparation using AutoCAD.

6) Control and prepare monthly reports on logistics and materials movement.

7) Application for work passes (SOC / SIC) for new and renewal.

8) Prepare workers PPE and documents for submission prior to project commencement.

9) Assist Project Manager and Project Team in project planning, coordination and overseeing of site works.

10) Visiting job sites to understand work requirements and progress.
