• Appropriate undergraduate/postgraduate degree qualification(s)

A Day in the Life

The Marketing Executive supports the development and execution of the offline, online and social marketing plans. In addition, he/she assists in evaluating the effectiveness of marketing communication plans and any adjustments that are needed to these plans. He/She works in a fluid and collaborative environment. Newgen seeks a motivated, high-energy sales professional to join our fast-paced, high-growth sales team in Singapore. The individual will be responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets by independently managing end-to-end sales process to acquire new business from the assigned accounts/market segment. Prior experience of selling enterprise software solutions to the Singapore Public Sector and Government-Linked Companies (GLCs) is a must. The role also requires working with Newgen’s network of global system integrators and Consulting companies who provide a potent sales channel for the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

· B.Tech and MBA is a must.

· Knowledge of solutions for Publics sector and Government-Linked Companies (GLCs) with focus on BPM, ECM, Case Management, low-code, hyper-automation.

· Experience of 4 to 7 years selling enterprise software solutions and acquiring new logos. Experience of selling LowCode and BPM solutions is a must.

· Experience of selling to large Enterprises is preferred.

· Ability to build consultative relationships with Senior decision makers at prospects and partners by engaging in regular face-to-face customer interactions. Must be able to “speak the language” of target market decision makers.

· Ability to work collaboratively across various internal departments in different geographies and a multicultural environment.

· Experience of executing lead generation strategies in liaison with other internal teams for demand generation while at the same time be self sufficient in generating market traction

· Ability to understand sales targets, quarter on quarter achievement and forecast future sales opportunities while devising winning sales strategies for the same.

Responsibilities:

· Create detailed, strategic target account plans, including partner/ alliance strategy to establish trusted advisor relationships with prospects, partners and clients to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and repeat business

• As a Business Analyst, you will be involved in the software development life cycle and agile methodology from project initiation, requirements, application development, implementation, maintenance and post-implementation review phases.

• The broad area of your role covers the following:

• Liaise extensively with external, internal clients and vendors;

• Lead design thinking sessions and requirements discussion with customers; conduct requirement analysis to ensure the implementation feasibility of functional specifications. Highlight requirement gaps, disproportional construction efforts, technical challenges and any other issues;

• Successfully translate users requirements into use cases, technical solutions;

• Present and communicate functional requirements and use cases to the technical and development teams and ensure system meets functional and system requirements;

• Good to have - Define system-level application architecture, high-level and detailed design, architectural policies and principles, implementation risks and mitigation measures, etc

• Engage customers to explain the rationale of architectures selection, or other technical issues;

• Prepare documentation, such as requirements and functional specification, design specification, enterprise class structure, data and application management framework, interfacing, infrastructure requirements, data migration approach, etc; work closely with customers to review and sign-off documentation;

• Prepare system training programs and conduct training to the customers;

• Develop test plans, cases and results and trace to requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Measure test results with customers required outcome;

• Perform functional and backend testing, review results and logs, resolve test issues and ensure application quality;

• Perform test briefing to the stakeholders and support UAT.

• Trouble-shoot system problems faced by the project team, customers and follow up till resolution;

• Conduct change impact analysis on customers requests in a change management lifecycle;

• Work with local and off-shore teams to deliver projects on the technical aspects;

• Prepare solutions and proposal for pre-sales activities;

Requirements

• Must have experience working in banking domin;

• Degree in Computer Science and Engineering;

• Minimum 2 years onwards of relevant experience as a Business Analyst and tester, Good to have in Java environment

• Strong analytical skills and possess stamina in following up on issues reported till its resolution;

• Experience in issues/problems and change management processes;

• Ability in analysing system backend logs and performing data mapping and categorisation;

• Able to perform functional and backend testing activities and ensure traceability to requirements;

• Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, good writing and communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive technique and an eye for details;

• Development skillset Java environment, well verse in Jira and SQL is an added advantage;

• Able to work under stringent timeline and exhibit commitment to project completion;

• Strong customer-service orientation and good presentation skills;

• A Good Team Player.

Must well verse in SQL, Linux, System Analysis and UAT testing. Knowledge in Java is an added advantage.
