1. To inspect the vessel repairs and prepare the inspection reports
2. Based on the inspection report to prepare the budget cost estimate & submit tender proposal to client for new projects before deadline
3. Follow-up with client for bid status so as to secure for order confirmation
4. Project co-ordination with client, vendors, subcontractors and procurement department for all project acitivities
5. Involve in project kick off meetings and Client meeting as and when required
6. Prepare and update material take off for project procurement and bid proposals
7. Raise requisition for project materials and co-ordinate with purchase department for procurement
8. Evaluation of vendor quotation on technical and commercial aspects
9. Prepare project schedule with manpower forecast for the project according to the agree schedule with client
10. Project planning, progress reporting and progressive claims
11. Preparation of method of statement, risk assessments for various installation works
12. Monitor the progress of projects and ensure for compliance of safety standards
13. Update and monitor various project costs to be in control within bugeted project cost
14. Track down of work variations and submit variation costs to client in time

Job Requirements:

§ Diploma/Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources or equivalent

§ Must have minimum 2-3 years of experience as Project Administrator in IT related projects

§ Must have experience in Interview techniques and applicant screening methods

§ Must have good understanding of Local Employment Laws and regulations

§ Must have experience in stakeholder management

§ Must have experience in Microsoft Office tools

§ Excellent written and verbal communications skills

The Project team is currently looking for a suitable candidate to join us as a Project Engineer (Electrical) to drive the ongoing and new projects in the company.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage multiple engineering projects from conceptual development to handover, within budget, deliver on time, safety alertness and the required quality.
• Able to prioritize tasks and assign manpower to ensure that the overall resources are used effectively and within project deadlines.
• Assist to prepare bid tender for new projects and ensure project compliance with company policy and guideline.
• Evaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope budget or timeline of a project.
• Lead the most complex or critical engineering projects, monitor progress and performance against the project plan.
• Identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Select, guide and develop a team of project member with operational responsibilities to ensure that the organization achieves it business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws.
• Ensure that organization and government standards on safety are met and ensure customer safety & quality specifications are consistently met.
• Allocate capital and human resources to maximize productivity and supervise and implement project expense, other assets and resource within budget.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Professional Qualifications in Related Field of studies.
• Possess 2 to 5 years relevant experience in the Construction Engineering industry.

• Ability to interact effectively with project members and managers at all levels.
