Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Specialists to elicit, review and update business requirements
• Analyse "to be" business and operations processes based on the agreed requirements and / or function points, determine the areas of impact and overall high level solution
• Analyse and define non-functional requirements based on business requirements
• Monitor and manage risks /issues related to requirements and scope
• Write business functional release notes and contribute to deployment plan

Skills/Requirement

• Strong business domain knowledge in banking
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ business/ finance or equivalent
• 10 years of IT work experience, including > 5 years as Functional Business Analyst
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process design skills that can translate analysis into solutions that meet business objectives
• Understanding of technology and operational processes across functions / departments in the bank/market.
• Familiar with change management processes and project management fundamentals
• Strategic forward-thinking approach to challenges with outstanding communications, influencing, negotiating and persuasion skills
• Experience in scoping and evaluation – Defining overall considerations, including scalability, maintainability, cost, operations and technology principal risk to provide a recommendation
• Minimum 10 years of relevant banking and/or consulting experience

Roles and Responsibilities

· Oversee, manage multiple vendors and external providers of ICT services, work with team members from application and infra teams, to deliver project on time and within budget

· Assist in business Change Management activities

· Analyse, facilitate, model, and organize information in order to reconcile conflicts, elicit requirements and distinguish solution ideas from business needs

· Assist in Hands-on coding and scripting

· Project Management (Scope, Budget and Schedule) including regular management reporting for maintenance and/or development projects

· Participate and contribute in project activities such as Requirement Gathering, User Acceptance Testing, Training & Implementation

· Review project deliverables. e.g. functional specifications, system test plan & results, user guide, operation manual

· Plan and perform user acceptance testing

· Assess service requests for enhancements and maintenance of systems

· Ensure Service Level Agreements for projects and incidents are met

· Manage and resolve day-to-day IT related issues pertaining to application, infrastructure or security, to facilitate smooth running of daily operations

Relevant Experience

· Relevant working experience as a developer/ technical Business analyst or equivalent in at least 2 Agile/ full project development life cycle

· Cloud solutioning and hand-on experience with AWS managed services

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels

· Strong problem-solving skills and able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks

· Good design, coding, testing and debugging skills

· Relevant experience in requirement elicitation techniques such as design thinking, persona analysis and customer journey mapping etc

· Solid knowledge of relevant technology concepts (e.g. client-server, relational dsatabases, cloud-based architectures, docker and containers)

· Relevant experience in and knowledge of microservice architecture will be advantageous

· Proficiency and experience in programming (Python, VB.NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is advantageous

· DevOps experience is preferred to be able to handle and review works done by partners.

· Familiarity with governance, adoption of digital services in enterprise IT environments.

· Work experience and strong troubleshooting skills in resolving application, infrastructure (including desktop, server, network) and security related issues in a (Singapore) government environment is preferred

· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders

Working hours: 8:15am – 5:15pm

Job Description

Key Duty:

• Achieving set & agreed goals (financial & non-financial)
• New product launches, including marketing campaigns (trade shows, factory visits, etc.)
• Build & strengthen customer relationships
• Team & staff training & development. Including their performance review including termination
• Own SBU Budget planning and provide support required by BU & Group level
• Monthly & YTD performance review/update to BU and Group including YTD forecast
• AR collection (target 60days =<30%)
• Ensure smooth & efficient process flow. Always strive for continuous operations improvement to increase productivity and reduce wastage.

General Task

• Manage the import and export of parts and component to local and overseas clients & Maintain strong relationship for on-going supply of parts & component
• Develop resources/suppliers for new OEMs and other requirements of affiliates companies.
• Liaise with key counterparts in Indonesia and Singapore, for parts handling and reshipments.
• Develop and guide subordinates on the documentations for import and export shipments.
• Oversee and lead sales teams for local business in parts and component trading.
• Coordinate with overseas subsidiaries on principals, inventory financing, and shipments.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly review reports and cash flow updates.
• Support Management/General Manager with other ad-hoc duties from time to time that includes the involvement in safety and health matters, handling the Battery Acid license and other accreditation requirements, etc.
• Source and propose new products as business opportunity that assists to grow the parts and trading business.
• Support the Truck Crane Service business as assigned from time to time.
• Assist with the sales of old inventory to best bid and buyer.
• Coordinate the annual stock take arrangement with auditor’s accounts and logistics team along with respective MMS staff involved.
• Oversee and deliver the right desired results for any other ad hoc assignments given.

People Management

• Supervise and lead by example to ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed.
• Drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback, and encouragement.
• Cultivate a team atmosphere by working with the team to achieve the company's targets and objectives
• Constantly review team and individual competencies to ensure everyone is equipped with the proper knowledge, skills and tools to carry out their work effectively and efficiently. Propose any required trainings to management for their development.

Relationship Management

• Liaise with customers (internal & external) and suppliers to gather feedback and develop solutions to resolve business issues and share essential information to management
• Maintain a transparent and timely communications with all stakeholders to ensure high level of support.

Requirement

• Min. 3-5 years of departmental managerial experiences, preferably in sales & marketing and in the components cum building materials industry.
• Warehousing & logistic experiences will be a “plus” factor.
• Has import & export experiences.
• Proficient with inventory software and systems will be an added advantage
