Job Description

We are looking for motivated degree or polytechnic graduates with IT experience to join our team as a Project Manager, leading customized IT projects that transform client requirements into actionable solutions. If you have a solid grasp of AGILE methodology, expertise in JIRA software, and experience managing stakeholders and sprints, we want to hear from you! A PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

1. Project Management: Lead end-to-end IT project lifecycles, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
2. Stakeholder Management: Act as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.
3. Agile Practices: Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives) and ensure smooth Sprint execution.
4. Task and Resource Allocation: Translate client requirements into detailed project plans, defining schedules and assigning resources effectively.
5. Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and proactively address issues to maintain project momentum.
6. Documentation: Create and maintain key project documentation (SRS, TDR, User Guides) to support seamless project delivery.
7. Continuous Improvement: Analyze project outcomes and recommend process enhancements to improve project execution efficiency.

Required qualifications

1. Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Project Management, or related fields (preferred).
2. Experience:
   1. Proven experience in IT project management, with a focus on customized solutions.
   2. Hands-on knowledge of JIRA and other project management tools (e.g., Trello).
   3. Familiarity with AGILE methodology, Sprints, and associated ceremonies.
3. Skills:
   1. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
   2. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects.
   3. Effective communication for managing clients and cross-functional teams.
4. Certification: PMP is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Description:

• Manage the project site by overseeing the day-to-day running of all matters related to the construction of the project as designated by the Project Manager.
• Plan, implement and monitor the work schedules according to the master and detailed work programmes.
• Assist in the planning and sequencing of the construction operations according to the Project Quality Plan.
• Liaise with client's representatives on site and with all subcontractors.
• Conduct inspections and checks on work performed by all subcontractors.
• Assist in the evaluation and resolution of any discrepancies and problems arising during construction and which has an effect on quality of the works.
• Ensure that updated drawings including shop drawings are used by for all construction.
• Co-ordinate the handing over of completed works to the client and completion of the necessary rectification works.
• Prepare project-related reports as required by the Project Manager or Construction Manager.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• PE Board Recognised Degree
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Basic: $2,400 - $2,800
• Working Hours: 5 Days Mon-Fri (830am to 530pm)
• Location: Jalan Kilang Timor, Redhill (Office) / Current project - Jurong or Woodlands Area

Responsibilities

• Assists Project Manager in the co-ordination of project management activities to ensure that projects are executed in a smooth and effective manner;
• Ensures the adherence to the safe work procedure (SWP) established; to inform project manager of any shortcoming in the SWP or risk control measures implemented;
• Ensures the familiarization with the scope of works;
• Follows up on all aspects of QA/QC matters; records all defects works and ensure proper documentation;
• Co-ordinates daily activities of workers’ duties and to ensure that they are performed in a proper manner;
• Makes daily checks on work progress, housekeeping and safety implementation on site with safety personnel;
• Documentation on project progress and damage;
• Any other related duties as assigned.

Requirement

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Training provided.
• Willing to work in Engineering/Construction environment.
