Responsibilities:

• Take charge of the day-to-day operations and technical management of the fleet.
• Manage the administrative processes for working inventory, defect reporting and rectification, consumption reports, requisitions, and certification, and ensure compliance with statutory, class, company, department and charterer requirements;
• Draft and execute plans for Preventive Maintenance Schedule (PMS), docking and repairs, and prepare regular inspection and progress reports for stakeholders;
• Carry out regular inspections, audits, and surveys, and rectify deficiencies and address non-conformances;
• Update and maintain records for all vessels’ drawings and instruction manuals of equipment onboard the vessels;
• Partner sub-contractors and shipyards on all maintenance and repair activities, and prepare specifications for RFQ/RFI;
• Conduct incident and near-miss investigations and ensure follow-up actions;
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial performance of assigned fleet achieves set targets;
• Plan and implement Fleet projects including those pertaining to decarbonisation as well as application of data and digital technologies including automation, AI/machine learning and cyber-physical interfaces;
• Plan and execute process improvements in tandem with current and future business requirements and carry out necessary interventions;
• Spearhead special projects as and when assigned.

Requirement:

• Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering or Class 5 Certificate of Competency as Marine Engineer Officer;
• Have at least 3 years of experience as Technical Superintendent or Assistant Technical Superintendent in a ship manager’s capacity;
• Demonstrate strong team orientation, self-initiated planning and outcome-driven resourcefulness and excellent stakeholder management as well as effective cross-cultural communication and project execution skills;
• Exhibit a strong interest in the application of marine technology and sustainability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct Responsibilities

• Assist the Team Lead or Lead Business Analyst as a Functional Analyst
• Perform business and functional analysis (end to end) for Cash Management services wrt to the reporting platform and products for Asia Pacific countries;
• Provide viable solutions that improve operational efficiency, user experience, and delivers business initiatives that is inline with Solution

• Escalate issues in an effective manner and resolve these in conjunction with the rest of the team and/or the vendor
• Review designs from Technical Teams/Vendor (where applicable)
• Review solutions from Technical Teams/Vendors (from functional view point that it fulfils the requirements objectively)
• To review SIT cases, analyse defect(s) raised by Test team; Liaise with internal Product Owner and/or vendor on fixes delivery date
• To define UAT cases/plan and be a liaison between project stakeholders and testing team during Testing Phase. Ensure defects reported are tracked, follow-up and closed timely. Establish and maintain close communication with Business and Operation to support day-to-day operation
• Provide support on clarification during SIT/UAT, Regression testing and Rehearsal testing
• To working independently to resolve issues and/or identify solutions and escalate in timely manner.
• To supports and plan for users’ participation in Deployments and Implementation Users Sanity and/or Penny Testing (PVT)

Contributing Responsibilities

• Develop new products jointly with other application/project teams
