Element has an opportunity for a Business Development Manager. In this role you will be responsible for conversion of more complex requests for quotes (RFQ’s) to high quality bids and quotations. You will establish and maintain a strong relationship with clients throughout the sales cycle: proactively following up on leads for future business opportunities, being responsible for following up and converting more complex RFQs to high quality quotations per customer expectations and making detailed testing proposals.

The Business Development Manager must be able to articulate Element testing to both business and technical users. They must be able to identify all technical requirements of assigned accounts to assure quotations are complete and professional. In addition to client relations, this role will interact with the Element Sales Team, General Manager, and lab personnel. The ideal candidate will be customer focused, action oriented, approachable and patience.

Job Duties:

• Conduct customer visits and follow-up with the entire selling process of identifying customers through sales leads, cold calls, etc and ensure customers's satisfaction with our product and services
• Develop and establish sales strategies for targeted customer to generate revenue and expand market share
• Develop and maintain strong business relationship with new and existing customers
• Deliver technical presentation, handle and lead all the quotation, sales enquiry and project tenders as well as conduct market research and needs analysis for market competition and competitive
• Lead the marketing activities to promote company reputation and services to all industries and prepare monthly report for management to develop sales plan and forecast

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in energy industry
• Experience in testing inspection certification or related field would be an advantageous
• Possess good analytical and processing skill
• A team player who is meticulous and able to work independently
• Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications:

• Must complete Certified Safety and Project Manager (CSPM) training
• Relevant experience in project management, with a preference for candidates with cold storage project management experience

· Monitor’s timeline of all submissions to authorities and obtaining the necessary approvals/permits/certificates.

· Monitor the progress of the construction activities and hold regular status meetings with various stakeholders.

· Coordinate the efforts of all parties in meeting the project schedule and ensure that the project completes on time and within budget and quality standards.

· Regular inspection of construction sites to ensure compliance to quality and site safety.

· Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel

· Plan and schedule project timelines

· Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders

· Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions

· Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project output

· Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team

· Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyse results, and troubleshoot problem areas

· Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work

· Ensure the smooth completion of the project
