Job Title: IT Onsite Engineer

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users within the organization. You will work closely with senior engineers to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, install and configure computer systems and applications, and ensure the smooth functioning of desktop environments. Additionally, you will help with IT projects and initiatives to improve overall system performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to and resolve help desk requests from end-users regarding hardware, software, and network issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Nitec / Diploma Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 1-2 years working experience.
• Knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and productivity software (Microsoft Office suite, etc.).
• Familiarity with hardware components (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals) and troubleshooting techniques.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with end-users and team members.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or similar are a plus.
