Key Responsibilities

Scope:

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of multiple facilities including office buildings, or other managed spaces within the Campus and ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of the Campus.
• Manage and mentor facility teams, including managers, executives, supervisors, technical officers, technicians, and support staff, to ensure a cohesive and efficient workforce.
• Manage and supervise the team of FM Technical Staff and Specialists including direct contractors or parties engaged by the client for the Facility Management Services in various specific disciplines.
• Identify and evaluate the cost-benefit effects arising from the actions of parties engaged by Republic Polytechnic for the Facility Management Services.
• Ensure all projects and maintenance works carried out according to schedule planned.
• Manage budgets for zones across the campus, allocating resources effectively to meet maintenance and improvement needs.
• Assist in the execution of work order and follow up with the service reports when the works are completed and submit the service report to CFM and the Client for record.
• Coordinate with external service providers, contractors, and vendors to ensure service delivery meets quality standards and contractual obligations.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, identify repair needs, and ensure timely resolution of facility issues;
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing measures to mitigate risks and maintain a safe working environment;
• Implement eco-friendly and sustainable practices, working towards energy efficiency and waste reduction goals;
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and communicate with senior management regarding the status of facilities and ongoing projects.
• Analyze facility performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee facility improvement and renovation projects from conception to completion, collaborating with internal teams and external contractors.
• Ensure that all his technical team and direct contractor appointed by the client or Contractor’s subcontractors follow client’s QEHS ISO requirements and Statutory Requirements.
• Responsible in preparing tender specification & post contract and renovation projects.
• Attend monthly meetings with the client on the FM Operations requirements of this Contract.
• Monitor the waste collection data, and initiate measure to comply with client’s recycling indicator set.
• Manage food court operators and ensure premises is well-maintained by operator and meets the requirements in contract.
• Manage the apartment operator and ensure premises is well-maintained by operator and meets the requirements in contract.
• Manage the childcare operator and ensure premises is well-maintained by operator and meets the requirements in contract.
• Undertake any other related duties stipulated by the client.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Architecture or Engineering or Real Estate or Building/Facilities Management or equivalent with 10 years of relevant working experience; OR
• Diploma holder in Architecture or Engineering or Real Estate or Building/Facilities Management or equivalent with 15 years of relevant working experience.

A brief summary of your job responsibility:

• Plan with other project teams within the Division to ensure timely procurement of contracts for development projects.
• Lead the procurement of contracts for Division’s development projects. Safeguard good governance of procurement processes to ensure compliance with the Government Instruction Manuals (IMs) and GovTech internal financial and procurement rules
• Reviews current workflows, processes, and identifies areas for standardization and improvements.
• Draft, review and refine structure of tenders, contractual terms, and requirement specifications for ICT systems, products and services procurement.
• Advise project teams on government procurement policies and ensure compliance while meeting project needs; provide guidance on specification requirements and queries.
• Assists in audits conducted by both internal and external auditors on contracts/projects.
• Identify potential procurement risks and its implication to the project stakeholders, and propose mitigating measures to manage the risks
• Apply contract monitoring methods to assess suppliers’ performance, and execute contract management procedures and techniques.
• Manage vendors (in accordance to contractual obligations) to meet stipulated service levels within scope and schedule and perform variation and technology refresh (when necessary).
• Provide regular and timely project status reports to upper management and manage project timelines, stakeholders, and communications.
• Ensure compliance of ICT projects with Quality Management System (QMS) and contractual requirements.
• Provide leadership, direction and guidance to help staff in the team to carry out their duties effectively and efficiently so as to achieve the Team’s targets.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• Be familiar with Government IM on Procurement
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the ICT Industry and/or Government procurement
• Good knowledge of ICT procurement and contract management practices
• Experience in procurement of Cloud, Software as a Service (SaaS), and/or AGILE projects will be beneficial
• Participated in full software or product development cycles
• Proven experience in IT business analysis
• Experience in Project Management for Monitoring and Tracking
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels
• Good analytical, organization and planning skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and independently as a self-motivated individual
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken

Mixologist

• Ensure that alcoholic drinks are served in accordance with the state and local laws, ordinance, rules and regulations.
• Know how to use bar equipment efficiently and safely.
• Help control wastage and costs by ensuring that daily bar inventory is kept.
• Maintain bar sanitation.
• Prepare drinks promptly.
• Accommodate taste preferences of individual guests.
• Keep control of the cash (if any), alcohol storerooms and other limited access areas.

The F&B Ambassador will be responsible for assisting in the restaurant operations to ensure that the guest experience, beverage quality and departmental revenue and profit goals meet its highest standard. He or she will report directly to the Restaurant Manager.

• Greet and guide customers to their tables and assist them in seating
• Manage a waiting list and seating chart
• Print special occasion menu and set up table accordingly
• Check table arrangement before and during service, ensuring table requests are met whenever possible
• Check on guests regularly to ensure their satisfaction and promptly resolve any issues or concerns.
• Coordinate with bartenders to serve beverages and ensure that alcoholic beverages are served responsibly and in compliance with legal requirements.
• Assist with general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing workstations and dining areas.
• Monitor and restock supplies as needed, such as napkins, straws, and condiments.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to address any issues or special requests from guests.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
