This Alliances Business Manager role will develop the full 360 degree Telco Service Provider (SP) partner led growth from leveraging partner teams and reach, especially for Managed Services. • Partner with the Finance Business Partner and CS Leadership Team to build the annual revenue and expense budget. Demonstrate a strong understand of the revenue and expense drivers and articulate risks and opportunities that may impact budget performance.
• Drive operational resilience by partnering with Risk and other internal CS Teams to facilitate crucial risk requirements such as Business Continuity exercises and Risk as well as Control Self Assessments.
• Partner with Global Service Excellence Team to drive key process improvement initiatives that will create efficiencies, improve the customer experience and reduce cost.

Why this is important to Visa

The candidate will play a key central role in driving business effectiveness through a best-in-class project and program management capability, ensuring successful execution of strategic plans across the region and provide support to the SVP Client Services (AP) and the broader AP Client Services Leadership Team.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

REVENUE MANAGEMENT STRAGEGY SUPPORT 

• Support the Hotel Management and Executive Director of Revenue Management to develop and maintain the hotel strategy (in terms of business mix and pricing by season and type of day) for the future periods through cooperation with sales & marketing team and optimal use of revenue management systems and channels. 

REVENUE MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE 

• Analyze in detail the hotels results and performance (average rates, occupancy rates, RevPAR..). Survey the market and competitors in terms of performance (RevPAR Index, market penetration…), pricing and availability as a basis for future tactical decisions with the Hotel GM.  Run scenarios to determine optimized actions for contracts and business mix changes 

• Perform both high level and by day forecast for both hotels and manage the forecast adjustments, uploading and reporting through Accor systems.  

PRICING, PLANNING & DISTRIBUTION OPTIMISATION 

• Take daily decisions to optimize the hotel turnover. Decisions in terms of pricing, inventory management (RMLs open/close), group quotation, distribution channels... Ensure that these recommendations are implemented in reservation and reception, and that systems (PMS, CRS/TARS, RMS) are updated accordingly.  

PMS/CRS MANAGEMENT & OPIMISATION 

• Maintain and optimize reservation systems including Opera Cloud and TARS with accurate tracking and delivery of rates to all distribution channels. 

REVPRO CULTURE 

• Ensure that a “RevPRO culture” is spreaded in the hotel, through the animation of weekly Revpro meetings and regular coaching and training sessions for the hotel teams  

TEAM DEVELOPMENT & GROWTH 

• Provide coaching and development for the Revenue Management team to support career progression and growth. 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Pricing and distribution loading across all systems and tools

The opportunity:  

To use your expertise in data platforms to drive the execution of the Data Management strategy in the APAC region and to be a global owner of a key solution, driving new product features.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for revenue generation from new customers, within one or several business units. He/ She will be expected to source and close leads working with Exhibitor Marketing, to develop strategies to attract new customers, enter new markets and review new business revenue. The role will be expected to sell to a variety of customers, independent small and medium enterprise customers (most our customer base) up to large key account acquisitions. As part of the life time management of customers, at times the Senior / Business Development Manager will be expected to support the closing or retention of high value or strategic customers, in particular those whom the Senior / Business Development Manager first acquired.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Revenue generation of specified amount assigned, through sales (booth, sponsorship/ advertisement and fully integrated packages) to new customers (including some customers who have not exhibited for several years) across products and revenue streams within a business unit
• Generation of new business leads, through customer relationship development, cold calling, attendance at industry related events and market searching
• Development of brand and industry specific knowledge to enhance and improve new business sales performance
• Identification and development of business development strategies, working with Event Directors to target new market sectors and regions
• Development of market analysis and opportunity assessment for brand growth and new revenue growth opportunities
• Collaboration with Exhibitor Marketing teams to develop attraction campaigns which could drive business development opportunities
• Support on the on-site re-booking of new business customers, and begin the handover of customers onto the account management team
• Support (where necessary) in the retention of existing customers
• To account manage newly acquired customers through their first show cycle to ensure a positive experience and provide resolution advice where necessary, working with other business functions (e.g. Marketing, Brand or Event Operations)
• Liaise with the Event Director in relation to key high value new customers, and Sales Operations with regards to available spots on the floor plan
• Adoption of sales pipeline process and data quality maintenance through use of Salesforce (CRM system)
• Manage the capture and entry of Sales contract information
• Manage sales information and customer requirements (via Salesforce) to Sales Operations and Event teams
• Act as an informal mentor to Business Development Executives within the Sales team, to share industry knowledge and experience
• Support overdue payment collection for accounts under management
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
