The Project Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, execution, and management of rail projects. This role ensures the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards while ensuring safety and compliance with applicable regulations.

Job Description

• Develop and review project plans, designs, and specifications for railway systems, including SCADA, COMMS, signalling, electrical systems, and civil works.
• Familiar with construction, installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Resolve technical and operational challenges during project implementation.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, government authorities, and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including system interface design document, site construction drawing, technical specifications.
• Prepare detailed reports and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Prepare to do shift work
• On-site work is required

Key Qualifications

Education:

Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years in railway or infrastructure project engineering.

• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).

Key Requirements

• An expert in project management, process improvement and strategic stakeholder engagement both in the corporate and individual levels
