JOB DESCRIPTION

Professional in charge of commissioning the OTSAW Products including but not limited to Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform commissioning of OTSAW Products from system setup to route mapping and product operations testing.
• Execute upgrade and modification requests for an existing hardware or system via remote or on-site support.
• Train the Product Operators and Service Team in operating a newly setup system, equipping them with product operations and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Prepare and submit the User Acceptance Test, Progress Report, Project Report and other Operations related documents whenever necessary.
• Escalate critical concerns to Lead Project Engineer for prompt resolution, ensuring operational continuity.
• Execute tasks on behalf of the Robotics Operations Team, contributing to streamlined operations.
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Project Engineer to align objectives and achieve team goals.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or other related fields is preferred.
• Associate’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or other related fields is required.
• Possessing a relevant certificate or license is preferred.
• Proven work experience as Project Engineer or similar role.
• Strong background in engineering or technology industry.
• Familiarity with Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) is advantageous.
• Proficiency in mechanical/electrical hardware installation, setup and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in system/network installation, setup and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ElcoCAD and any other design and planning software.
• Familiarity of LINUX (Ubuntu) System and software troubleshooting will be an added advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical / electrical prints and other related technical documentation.
• Strong working knowledge of equipment, tools and components used in the industry.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally on short notice.
• Ability to work independently and remain professional under pressure.
• Possession of a valid driving license is preferred.

• Position : Project Manager (LTA/TRAIN/ELECTRICAL)
• Location : Office in Changi, work site at Tuas
• Working hours : 6 days work week, Monday- Friday 8:00am – 5:30pm
  Salary (Commensurate with experience): Up to $8200 Basic + AWS + Variable Bonus + 14 days annual leave

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee project activities to ensure smooth execution of project
• Close monitoring of project resources includes manpower, transportation, equipment and tools
• Oversee that current version of local specifications – e.g. Code of Practice, Singapore Standards are accessible at the point of use
• Attend regular site coordination meetings with client/contractors/sub-contractors on project related matters
• Liaise with relevant authorities
• Ensure timely submission of monthly progress claim including claim for variation order or additional works to client
• Ensure execution of project is in compliance with Project Quality Plan, Project Safety Plan and any other relevant local HSE rules & regulations, client specification and company requirements
• Setup and oversee proper project documentation and filing, ensure traceability and availability at all times
• Prepare project quality plan and safety management plan in line with the company standards and project specification
• Ensure the project deliverable (objectives and schedule) are met, within budget and zero lost time injury
• Ensure the requirements as stated in project Quality Plan are implemented effectively
• Ensure that all corrective action for non-conformance report are properly addressed
• Assist procurement department in sourcing, negotiate and procure materials (installation) and equipment from the vendors
• In consultation with the human resource department recruit, interview and select staff with appropriate skills for the project activities
• Assist in tender administration work
• Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to senior management on a regular basis (monthly/bimonthly)
• Prepare and submit monthly, weekly, daily progress report to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirement

• Bachelor Degree in relevant engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience as a project manager / Site Manager in MRT / LTA or similar project in Singapore
• Familiar with relevant authorities’ procedure, application and submission for low voltage electrical and extra low voltage (ELV) system required according to the system and regulation requirement.
• Safety training in line with MOM, company requirement and project requirement
• Training or certification in project management desirable
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications
