M Water Resources International Pte. Ltd. (M Water) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Memiontec (MIT) which customises and distributes modular water and wastewater treatment system, equipment and components.
Job Description:
The Business Development Director is the head of a business in the region who manages the business, people and resources for the specific subsidiary for which he/she is responsible. He/She shall be responsible to secure business to grow the company within the region in alignment with the group’s initiatives. This is a permanent & full-time position with the company.
Responsibilities:
· Reports to the group CEO and other key management executives (as directed).
· Overall head of the subsidiary’s business operations with P&L responsibility.
· Identifies & develops suitable opportunities for new business development from regions currently not covered by the group subsidiaries. Those with Vietnam exposures and experienced will be an added advantage.
· Develops goals for the sales team and ensures they are met.
· Accountable for securing new orders & customers.
· Maintains a current record of sales pipeline with key updated information.
· Leads all business proposals and is accountable for costing and accuracy of the proposal.
· Manages and supports in sourcing, procurement and sales of products & systems to the group’s subsidiary companies.
· Manages the execution of the projects to ensure key deliverables are met under budget meeting customer expectations.
· Works closely with the team to provide performance appraisal, deliver training, directs the activities of employees, from recruiting, training, and evaluating new staff and ensure meeting the company’s financial objectives.
· Coordinates within the group stakeholders & subsidiaries to ensure business success.
· Should be familiar with local regulations of the water/wastewater treatment industry.
Requirements:
· Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering Degree, or Equivalent.
· Minimum 15 years of sales, P&L and people management experience in the field of Water & Wastewater treatment Industry.
· Experienced in securing product & projects sales for water & wastewater treatment applications.
· Should have good network with industrial customers in Microelectronics, Pharma, F&B, Oil & Gas, Fertilizer and Petrochemical plants in South East Asia.
· Should adhere to Compliance, Integrity, and Ethics policies of the Company
· Singaporeans/SPR preferred.
