Broad Function

The Engineering Assistant (Logistic & Automation) shall reports to the Engineer and assist in the execution and management of FM services, such as operation, maintenance, modification, replacement and activities under Logistic & Automation engineering systems and non-clinical equipment (such as Pneumatic Tube System (PTS), Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), Pneumatic Waste & Linen Chute System (PWLCS), Food Waste Treatment and Vacuum System (FWTVS), Centralised Sterilised Supplies Department Equipment, Food Services Department Equipment and mobile equipment). Job Requirement

Education / Training / Experience

2. At least 1-4 years of experience or ITE graduate with at least 5 years’ electrical / mechanical / mechatronics / automation systems experience for Engineering Assistant.
3. At least 5-6 years of experience or ITE graduate with at least 8 years’ electrical / mechanical / mechatronics / automation systems experience for Senior Engineering Assistant.

Broad Function

The Engineer reports to the Manager, FM and assist in the execution and management of FM services and activities in particularly those system under Mechanical Engineering services. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring audit and monitor the standards of maintenance services rendered by specialist vendors and outsourced maintenance service provider.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

1. Oversee preventive & corrective maintenance scheduling & coordination work. Manage Maintenance Agent day-to-day works for Plumbing and Sanitary Systems, Town Gas System, DC System, Roller Shutter, Auto door System, Etc.
2. Oversee the performance of outsourced maintenance Mechanical team and ensure good maintenance standards maintained and planned PM schedules are met.
3. Audit and monitor the performance standards of outsourced maintenance services by specialist vendors and service providers for mechanical systems critical to hospital operations.
4. Oversee and coordinate improvements projects to the hospital services and facilities as well as upgrading of systems and equipment components.
5. Project manager for improvement works to existing hospital facilities such as renovation and retrofitting, replacement of system infrastructure and improvement initiatives to existing specialized systems and hospital facilities
6. Assist to provide advisory and support to the maintenance team. This includes, system rectification and troubleshooting, system upgrade or expansion, condemnation or replacement.
