We are currently looking for Project Director who is responsible to direct and oversee the software engineering function in developing, releasing, and maintaining software application to ensure turn-key cybersecurity projects, in telecommunication field involving multi-vendors solution from Europe are commissioned on time. You will be leading a software team of software engineers and developers to develop and maintain high quality software, systems and applications.

The company is searching for a team-oriented player who can understand the requirements, environment and has the technical and organisational competency to lead the team to successful implementation activities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the processes and documentations for Software Product Life Cycle
• Design, Implement & Deliver across The Entire App Life Cycle – Requirements, Analysis, Design, Test, Deploy & Release & Support
• Be responsible for UI/UX, business rules, database access layers, external interfaces, and actual database schema design
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform
• Produce fully functional software applications writing clean code
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
• Design interfaces to improve user experience
• Designed, developed and maintained real-time and batch data processing programs and scripts for the core system platforms
• Liaise with sales, project and product teams to plan new features
• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
• Research and suggest new software products, applications and protocols
• Document every aspect of an application or system as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades
• Keep Up To Date on The Latest Technology Developments
• Hire and develop training plans for the team

Requirements:

- Experience & Knowledge:

• 10+ years’ experience designing and building software applications
  • BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
  • Strong technical background in European cybersecurity solutions, IP telephony and data networking industry as project administrator or other managerial position
  • Proven work experience as a Mobile & Web Portal developer and as Team Lead in software development projects
  • Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market
  • In-depth knowledge of programming language like Swift, Objective C and Java
  • Have Hybrid Mobile App design & development skills
  • Proven track record on Developing Hybrid Mobile App Interfaces
  • Experience on developing hybrid Mobile Applications for IOS, Android
  • Experience in integrating or even developing with third-party libraries and APIs (REST, SOAP)
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
  • Experience in Data modelling and database design
  • Familiar with Agile Methodologies
  • Familiar with OOP design principles
  • Familiar with RDBMS Design
  • Familiar with writing programming code using SQL & Python to create software, web applications and database processes

Responsibilities :

• Attending sites survey, precon survey, site inspection and handover
• Handling Contractor, assigning sites to subcons
• Draft technical proposal
• Liaise with other authorities such as HDB, LTA, Building Owner for Private sites
• Material & equipment acquisition, project coordination, progress monitoring, site technical support and as-built preparation and submission.
• Site handover with Client
• Coordinate with subcon and customer for site installation work.
• Follow up with contractors and update the status to client and Project Manager
• Attending site meeting and survey with Building Owner.

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication or equivalent
• Preferred 2 years experience in telecommunication field

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing in-depth understanding of project scope and particulars i.e. timeframes, financials, outcomes, plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information.
• Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives, regularly schedule and attend meetings between stakeholders, clients, employees and the Project Manager.
• Getting necessary approval (NCE, LTA Approval, NPark and Special Approvals) for the site teams, and special approvals like GTP, MPA and LPB clearances and request for, TPOM Officers coordination for standing supervision.
• Maintain records and renew any expired approvals/permits that are required (C&G NCE, Telecom, GTP, LPB LOAs).SP Officers coordination regarding the following schedule of works (ROA Schedules, Reinstatement) for Distribution Projects.
• Coordinating with LTA and NPark officers regarding the ROA queries raised by authorities, and get approval on time.
• Providing support to project managers and operation team when requested.
• Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary, and sharing relevant documentation and reports with project teams.
• Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
• Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information.
• Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.
• Regularly schedule and attend meetings between stakeholders, clients, employees and the Project Manager.
• Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, meeting minutes and emails.
• Providing support to project managers and operation team when requested.
• Being point of contact for various working groups.
• Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.
• Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor or HOD.

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB)
• Minimum 3 year of experience in constructions or civil engineering
• Those with experience in underground utilities especially gas pipes will be advantageous
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Preferably possess a valid Class 3 license

· Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, codes of practice, and company safety rules and regulations at all times.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Mechanical or Electrical, Construction Management or equivalent

· At least 5 years of experience in the field of project management

· Strong leadership, team management, organizing and planning skills

· Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

· Expertise in project management tools and methodologies.

· In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations
