The role:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience and success in business strategic planning and project management in the renewable energy sector within a global business setting.
• Strong understanding of the global renewable energy market, including familiarity in regulatory environments, technological advancements, and renewable energy and environmental conservation industry trends.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in managing crossfunctional teams.
• Mature professionals with outstanding negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Your new role

• Be part of a highly specialized business analyst cum support group supporting the Portfolio Managers and Trading Desks from Equity, Multi-Asset and FI Investment teams as well as covering ESG governance teams.
• The Solutions team is a client focused IT team responsible for supporting core business processes covering portfolio construction, order generation, order management, trade execution, trade confirmation and trade settlement.
• This role requires an individual with strong business and technical knowledge to support Front Office applications and electronic trading applications as well as deliver on critical business driven projects and initiatives for ESG governance team.
• A solid understanding of Financial Instruments, Portfolio construction, Trade lifecycle and ESG business is essential to the role.

What you'll need to succeed

- Primary point of contact with Business Users (Portfolio Managers, Traders etc.)

- Must be team oriented and work well within a global team

- Must be self-sufficient, be accountable and act like an owner of IT related issues handled by the team

- Good analytical, problem solving skills coupled with strong communication skills

- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

- Responsible for managing Incidents, major incident, problem and change management related activities

- Work with stakeholders and development team to establish and document requirements. Translate business needs into technological requirements.

- Assist with project oversight by entering stories on the JIRA board and updating them as needed.

- Advanced Database/SQL skills - ability to write stored procedures. Good to have exposure to Snowflake.

- Experience with data analysis and manipulation using Excel and/or VBA.

- Hands on experience with operating systems like UNIX/LINUX- Advanced understanding and ability to write scripts in Perl, Shell, Python, PowerShell

- Understanding of Equity/Derivatives/FX trade life cycle, electronic trading, FIX and accounting.

- Batch job scheduling tools like Autosys
