Responsibility

• Perform the activities of engineering in accordance with the established procedures, service manuals and required standards
• Ensures that engineering design and project management are planned in accordance with the customer's specifications
• Ensures that all engineering designs, technical drawings and appropriate standards used are properly documented
• Co-ordinates with Sales-In-Charge in notifying customers of any changes in design, documentation, planning, timing or services performed
• Ensures that projects filing and technical manuals compilation are in accordance with procedures and process control
• Notifies Admin Department on the schedule for delivery and invoice in accordance with customers' requirements till project closure
• Raise Purchase Requisition and costing of procurements in Material List and request for relevant documents from suppliers
• Notifies Sales-In-Charge and Purchaser of any variations or additional supplies required for the project or recall project kick-off meeting for major changes, if deemed necessary
• Ensures procurements are processed in advance to meet contractual schedule
• Ensures that receive goods are verified with purchase orders before approving payment to suppliers
• Notifies the Purchaser immediately to withhold or stop payments to suppliers if goods received require any exchange of parts or are defective with supporting correspondences
• Assists the technical teams to complete system testing, commissioning and ensures that the services is properly to meet the required specifications
• Reviews Project Files Closure and ensures that contents are fully intact with updated information. Ensures that drawings (including softcopies of drawings) and manuals are backed up in disk and server prior to handing over to P & E Secretary for storage in data room
• Ensures that a non-conformity report is being raised as and when necessary
• Ensures that non-conformances are promptly resolved by means of investigation and corrective action
• Reviews and approves supplier and contractor on work completion which relates to project work and purchase order
  
  Requirements
• Diploma/Degree/Post Graduate in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Relevant experience in control & instrumentation background, PLC Programming, automation, electrical & electronic engineering is a must
• Good communication skills

Job Description

Responsibilities

· Reporting to the Project Director/ Business Unit Head.

· Responsible for preparing project start-up and execution plan, as well as to define key project targets in terms of time, cost, quality, resources, EHS and contractual.

· Liaise effectively with client’s representatives and consultants in all project matters relating to authority, planning, contracts, construction and EHS, including reporting at regular meetings.

· Lead a team of professional and technical staff in planning and execution of day-to-day operations to achieve all key project targets

· Review master programme, define key project milestones and set pull-planning targets for project team to manage site progress and activities effectively.

· Liaise with and manage Subcontractors to deliver their respective performance targets in terms of time, cost, quality and safety.

· Implement and control project budgetary plans, as well as to manage contractual matters fully.

· Drive the implementation of innovative construction methodologies and practices on site to improve productivity and achieve lean outcome.

· Foster collaborative spirit between project team members, as well as commitment to achieving performance targets set.

· Assist the Business Unit Head or Project Director in tendering proposals to secure new projects.

Requirements:

· Degree in Building/ Civil or Electrical Engineering/ Construction Management or related.

· Minimum 8 years’ experience in project management and/ or site coordination works for building projects.

. BCCPE certificate would be an advance.

· Good all-rounded knowledge in construction management, planning capability and contractual matters; adopt lean mind set to cost and resource management.

· Able to effectively collaborate with all stakeholders to achieve good results in project delivery; strongly committed to accomplishing the established milestones and other deliverables.

· Proactive when solving issues and focused on strategic goals of the project.

· Proponent of lean principles, actively seeking to maximize value and minimize waste in processes and resource management; Believer of empirical data and measurement as basis of decision-making to improve efficiency and productivity.

· Applicants with prior relevant experience in residential projects will be preferred.
