RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide administrative and contractual support and maintain all required project information throughout each project for claim purposes.
• Ensure that the claim data are up-to-date and comprehensive.
• Prepare progressive claims and potential variation claims.
• Be able to do quantity measurement.
• Prepare RFQ package and source supplier and subcontractors.
• Review and compare quotations received, including clarifications correspondences.
• Highlight difference and commercial risks.
• Prepare agreements draft by using given template.
• Review subcontractor/supplier’s claim and prepare payment response.
• Maintain proper record of project costs.
• Ensure proper closing-out of subcontracts/supply agreement.
• Support in project account finalization.
• Other quantity surveying duties assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least a degree in Quantity Survey, Civil or Mechanical or equivalent or equivalent;
• At least 5 years of Singapore based contract management experience in Subcon/EPC project environment.
• Sound knowledge of preparing progress claims, contract close-out documents, monthly reports, interim and final payment applications.
• Good contractual and commercial mind set in working;
• Team player.
• An excellent diplomat and communicator in English, spoken or written.
• Familiar with public project contract administration.
• Experience in a O&G project.
• Able to manage work pressure

Job Overview

The Assistant Project Manager will join the asset management team responsible for new development of assets, as well as repair, maintenance, and enhancement of existing properties owned by the Stamford Land Group of companies.

Job Responsibilities

• Review of proposed new developments, asset improvement initiatives, maintenance and other capital expenditures for existing properties.
• Support feasibility studies and provide recommendations on new development concept, preliminary programme and budget.

Job Responsibilities

The Project Manager duties would include, but not be limited to:

Responsible for the preparation and application of the Project Execution Plan.

Lead Project Management teams. Provide expertise, guidance, advice, support and motivate project teams.

Report to senior management via meetings or by regular written reports the progress of related project matters together with the status of related issues.

Manages routine client interaction. Sets and manages client expectations.

Manage and prepare all reporting activities required for the Project Stakeholders.

Assist the Design team with design management, design coordination and design delivery to meet the project schedule.

Work and liaise with the Design team on project matters, and also initiate value engineering initiatives to ensure that the project develops within the recognized cost and time constraints.

Regularly inspect the progress of the work on site and provide guidance to the project and construction management teams on best practices and potential efficiencies on scheduling and processes.

Oversee and support the Construction Management Team to ensure the adequate and timely flow of information, designs, technical data and feedback, to meet the stringent construction schedule requirements on the project.

Plan and Implement Procedure and Quality Checks for assigned projects.

Assisting the Director of Project Management as directed in any other Project Management related activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Deploma in Civil / Structural Engineering / Construction Management or its equivalent

Minimum 8 years working experience in the field of Project Management.

Sound knowledge of Project Management procedures.

Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and communicate them to others.

Outstanding organization, coordination and leadership skills – ability to coordinate groups of Consultants/ Contractors.
