Responsibilities:

• Oversee accident reporting and clarify the claims process to customers, such as bus captains, taxi/private hire vehicle hirers, and relief drivers.
• Implement effective claims management to meet KPI targets for claims outcomes.
• Collaborate as part of the team to ensure the company recovers losses from third parties or defends against claims from individuals involved in road accidents.
• Coordinate with workshops and relevant parties to communicate with third-party insurers, legal representatives, and passengers on behalf of SMRT Buses and Strides Premier Fleet.
• Work with various departments within SMRT Buses, Strides Premier Fleet, and associated agents to pursue any claims effectively.

Requirements:

• Diploma in General Insurance or related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in Motor insurance claims.

Job Summary

Assist Unit Leader, Residential Care (RC) in the operations of the Home to ensure that all the residents are provided with quality care and protection.

Provide proper supervision, guidance and quality care are delivered to the children or youths in an identified unit (approx. 10 to 15 residents) in Melrose Home.

Duties and Responsibilities

Home Management

• Programme Development:

To support and support the Unit Leaders and Senior Guidance Officers’ efforts in developing and implementing biopsychosocial or educational programmes in the unit.

Resident Management:

• Supervision of Residents’ Physical Needs - To ensure residents received adequate food nourishment and support them in doing their laundry.

Supervision of Residents’ Psychosocial Needs

• To provide supervision and care to the residents. The GO is to actively promote the involvement of all residents in the Home’s social group, counter the isolation of individuals by others, nurture friendships between residents, and support those residents who for any reason do not readily “fit in” to the social group.
• To guide and develop socially acceptable behaviour in residents, in a manner that does not infringe on their rights or the rights of others, and which is consistent with sound behaviour management principles.
• To support the residents’ adherence to the Unit’s behaviour management system. This system gives clarity to the rules and requirements of the Home and sets clear expectations on how residents should relate to one another.
• To manage residents’ behavioural issues using a trauma-informed approach.
• To provide guidance for residents in supporting their growth and development and motivate/mentor the residents.
• To provide support for the positive social and emotional development of the residents.

Health and Hygiene

• To ensure the proper maintenance and cleanliness of the Home’s premises and the unit’s dormitory.
• To educate and reinforce acceptable personal hygiene standards to youth and children.
• To oversee the medical and health needs of the residents in the unit.

Academic and Cognitive Needs

• To oversee the academic needs of the residents in the unit.

Crisis Management

• To provide on-site incident or crisis management when necessary

Supervision Outside of Melrose Home

• To escort and supervise youths and children to and from the clinic, the hospital, the school or to attend programmes and activities outside the Home.

Integrated Care Plans

• In consultation with the Caseworker, to support the Residents’ integrated care plans through the programmes delivered in the unit or through day to day tasks/activities

Undertake any other duties directed by Unit Leader and / or Manager, RC

Note: The residential home setting is a 24/7 facility. Guidance Officers are rostered to work shifts (sometimes 7am to 4pm, mostly 1pm to 10pm; 5 days a week with 2 rotational off days).

Responsibilities:

· Business Analysis

-Conduct in-depth analysis of the branch's operating trends, profitability, and other key performance indicators.

-Enhance the professionalism, pro-activeness, and foresight of business analysis, aligning with advanced peer industry standards.

-Prepare high-quality monthly business analysis reports and statements for submission to the Head Office and Branch’s senior management.

-Provide meaningful operational insights and actionable recommendations.

· Budget Management

-Develop overall budget targets for the branch, including detailed calculations for existing and incremental business volume.

-Consider factors such as exchange rate and interest rate fluctuations, business progress, and asset-liability repricing.

-Formulate scientifically sound overall budget targets and quarterly development goals.

· Strategic Planning Support

-Assist in the calculation and formulation of the branch's strategic planning goals.

-Benchmark against advanced peer strategies and business models to enhance the branch’s strategic planning capabilities.

Requirements:

· A recognized University Degree, preferably in, Accounting, Finance, Analytics, Statistics or related fields.

· At least 5 years of relevant work experience in audit, financial analysis, and data processing. Preferably with working experience in banking and financial services industry.

· Strong organizational and management skills with the ability to work independently.

· Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem solving skill, proficiency in the use of MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint /Access.

· Proficiency in Chinese would be an added advantage as incumbent is required to understand Chinese documents from Head Office

• The incumbent shall be part of the Finance Shared Services (FSS) team responsible for projects pertaining to e-forms & workflow system. The person shall work in close liaison with project managers and institution stakeholders to meet the projects’ timeline.
• Manage Fixed Assets & Accounts Receivable, Sundry Billing’s projects to meet projects’ timeline.
• Liaise with various stakeholders to collate and consolidate e-forms approving matrix, routing and system requirements, and where possible to standardize / streamline processes.
• Draft system specification documentation for new e-forms development.
• Perform end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT), collect participating users’ UAT results, collect data for system tables set-up for UAT and production system.
• Monitor and ensure all UAT issues are resolved promptly by the system developer / vendor to meet the project timeline.
• Monitor project activities and its data submission are in compliance to institution’s operation requirement.
• Conduct system demos / end-user trainings as and when required.
• Handle enquiries from users on matters relating to e-forms & workflow system.
• Generate reports for dashboard and data analytic purpose.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in any discipline with 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Finance Sector, with basic knowledge of Accounting.
• Possess strong IT skills & proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in Decision software / SAP is preferred.
• High integrity, meticulous and proactive.
• Independent with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and under tight deadlines during project implementation phase.
• Proficient in articulation and presentation skills.
• Customer service orientated with good service attributes and team spirit to achieve win-win outcome
