Operation (Maintenance)

• Provide technical services to the maintenance and troubleshooting of the Electronic Queue Management System.
• Attend and carry out Fault Finding and Diagnosis of systems breakdowns, both on a mechanical and electrical basis, with a focus on providing high levels of service and response times.
• Follow Preventive Maintenance work schedules to specified standards and procedures and maintain all relevant written records.
• Maintain records of all breakdowns and repairs allowing for analysis and compliance with ISO standards.

Project Implementation

• Collaborate with vendors to implement project enhancements.

• Perform independently with minimal supervision and work with others developing trusting relationships.

Standby Duties

1. Answer all service request phone calls during scheduled standby duties.

4. Support project adhoc activities (e.g. testing, deployment, commissioning).

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of IT peripherals including backup & recovery
• Set-up, installation, re-installation or migration of IT peripherals
• Relocation of IT peripherals within premises
• Provide onsite support at client's premise, remote support by phone & email, and standby support. Handling clients/ end-users IT related requests
• Troubleshoot hardware & software issues
• Users profile administration
• Interface with other IT maintenance vendors for problem reporting. Place service call and follow up until the problem has been resolved.
• Installation and configuration of software according to customer standard

Requirement:

• Minimum ITE / Diploma in IT or equivalent
• At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in IT field
• User support experience is preferred
• Basic networking support & supporting in OS platform
• Have Customer Service Skills/ Good Communication Skills/ Team Player/ Take Initiative
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment

Job Description:

The IT Support Specialist / Engineer role is to provide technical support to our enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will be deployed offsite and will be on a 5-day work week schedule. He/She will also be led by an experience core members as mentor from our team.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor system logs and activity on all servers and network devices.
• Provide fault resolution and escalation (Level 1 and 2).
• Ensure Industry best practices in IT are adhered to and can withstand audits.
• Maintain accurate documentation on networks and systems.
• Prompt service report as well as Routine maintenance report.
• To perform other IT related duties when assigned by the management.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience with on-site deployment, debugging and customer support.
• Communicate fluently in English - spoken and written.
• Resourcefulness, ability to problem-solve in a systematic approach.
• Good organization skill and able to work independently.
• Possess the right attitude to learn and execute with sense of urgency.
• 0-3 years of experience in relevant system and infrastructure support.

Technical Competency:

• Technical scope (Back-end) with strong network setup and debugging.
• Windows command line and IIS. SQL skills are a bonus.
• Automated logging, usage report generation and bug reporting.

Education:

• ITE / Diploma in Engineering or Information Technology preferred but not essential.
• Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.

• Plan all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages of all.
• Adherence to safety practices in the work place.
• Technical expertise and knowledge in Foundation, Structural and Building works
• Good knowledge on method statements

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· To provide Maintenance and Operation Support for Data Center Common Infrastructure

· Assess & implement SR/CR within the stipulated SLA.

· Shall obtain updates and patches for all vulnerabilities from the equipment /software vendors and ensure that these updates/patches are tested and implement them on the affected system upon the Customer’s approval and time stipulated by the Customer.

· 24x7 Standby Support required.

· Expected to work during off-peak hours on scheduled system activities.

Technical Skillset Required

· Minimally 2-3 years of managed experience working in a DC.
