Our Singapore center (โISAPโ or โInformation Systems Asia Pacificโ) is the second largest IT setup (after Paris Head Office) for Crรฉdit Agricole CIB's worldwidebusiness. We work daily with international branches located in 30 markets by:

Our organization
Within the IT & Operations division, the department Digital Excellence Center (DEC) in Singapore is strong of 150 staff. Our center of excellence have established a recognized expertise on process digitalization and data analytics while our expertise on artificial intelligence is growing.
Every day, we work jointly with domain IT teams or directly with business stakeholders on digitalization of their processes and leveraging on their data while, in the background, we design, build and frame the next generation of shared services.

Context
Credit Agricole CIB is engaged in a major digital transformation of its Business and Operations. We believe having a strong data governance, data quality and data lineage in our value chains with other major disruptive technological evolutions.
Over the past years, we groomed our skills, expertise and experience at building effective Data Analytics solutions. We want to sustain and improve them with data management practices.
Role & Profile
In a challenging and multicultural environment, we seek a motivated and skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Analytics team. Data Analytics team is responsible of a portfolio of solutions for various business lines of the bank (Risk, Finance, Compliance, Trade Finance, etc). Data Analytics team deliver solutions primarily based on Microsoft Business Intelligence stack with a focus on performance and reliability. We are evolving and adopting new data technology as per the bank data strategy.
This position requires a candidate with,
ยง at least a bachelor degree in computer studies
ยง minimum 8 years of experience in Data Engineering role with financing industry, ideally in a banking environment
ยง at least 5 years of development experience with using Microsoft Business Intelligencestack covering
o Tabular Analysis Service
o Data warehousing
o Performance tuning
o Data transformations and quality checks
o Power BI dashboarding and reporting
ยง good exposure and usage experience in CI/CD tools / processes preferably Azure DevOps
ยง ability to design and present technical solutions to architects and to team
ยง proactive and problem solving attitude with ability to anticipate risks.
ยง strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
Key job responsibilities
You report to Data Analytics team head of DEC.
Role of Data Engineer encompasses:
- Develop and implement techniques and analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.
- Apply data mining, data modelling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Visualize, interpret, and report data findings and may create dynamic data reports as well.
- Maintain existing BI solutions / ETL pipelines and propose continuous improvements
- Communicate and collaborate with architects, stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to gather requirements and define technical solution
- Ability to design appropriate solution in compliant to CACIB standards
- Develops detailed technical work plans, estimates, improvement plans and status reports
- Perform regular peer-reviews, maintain low technical debts, assess & up-skill junior staffs
- Ensure the respect of CACIB code of conduct and compliance rules within the team
- Contribute to initiatives managed at department level (continuous improvement, innovationโฆ)
Preferred (additional skills preferred, but not mandatory)
- Exposure to data science technologies or other competitive data processing tools like Python, Spark, etc.
- experience on test driven development
