IT Engineer

Job Scope:

• Set up cloud infrastructure for AWS or Azure
• Install and configure software and hardware for project testing.
• Liaise with customers to gather requirements.
• Produce design / test document in a project.
• Hardening windows and Linux system
• Manage network servers and technology tools
• Set up cluster server, VMware, and workstations
• Create and verify backups of data
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
• Respond to security or usability concerns immediately
• Troubleshoot issues and outages
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models
• Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
• Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution
• Act as L2/L3 Support. Able to perform System recovery

Requirement:

• Experience as a IT Engineer, System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
• Experience with Windows Server, Group Policy, Virtualization, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
• Familiar with Terraform is a plus
• Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus

Main responsibilities

As Test Automation Engineer:

• Ability to build automated test solution using Cucumber and Selenium

• Coordination with application support (BA and developers) and other tester colleagues on creating the automation test suite.

• Preparing good documentation of each automated test process.

As Integration Tester:

• Able to handle the integration test phases (planning, test functional coverage and adequacy with functional content): regression test, integration test on functional test campaign.

• Maintain up to date test libraries (test cases)

• Handle application testing (manually and automated)

• Prepare regular reports on test results.

Qualifications and Profile

• This position requires experiences in automated testing, ideally in a CIB banking environment (exposure to finance or commercial back office end users preferred).

• Very good understanding of Test Life Cycle - Test development, execution and maintenance

• Java development experience

• Experience in appropriate tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Serenity, Maven etc.

• Experience in end-to-end testing process.

• Knowledge in SQL and MS Excel.

• Knowledge of any test management tool.

• General knowledge of corporate and investment banking especially financing domain.

• Good understanding of SDLC

• Proficiency in application project management
